Hey Moods, this is what I am talking about. It's like the drama gods were listening on Friday at the crop!!! I for one like to hide behind the cover of the sweet ATOC boards and poke my head out every so infrequently at the Peas! As long as we don't get a lot of teacher bashing threads I am a happy camper. WELCOME! Cristie
This seems like a really nice board and I didn't like the mess over at Peas, either. I was REALLY bowled over by what was discovered"behind the scenes".Figures that as soon as I decided to make a comeback @ Peas after a few year of staying away, I found out it was still a mess there.
Moody- You always make my laugh with your pics - you are to damn funny!

Another refugee checking in. Still learning my way around, but it's nice to be here. Hopefully we'll grow on you

I contend we are both atheists; I just believe in one fewer god than you do.

Susan, did you just say the **D** word? That's just entirely inappropriate. What if my kids are reading it? Jr
Most of us are pretty darn normal. Get to know us and then decide!(Also, I refuse to believe ANY board with this many women could be completely drama free! )
I'm with the others who've written that until someone makes themselves unwelcome, they're welcome! So, welcome, new board members. There are some truly talented people here!

I am laughing at the drama llama and the old lady with the double stir is hilarious.. but WTH is OP and the "Give us your tired and your NSBR Your huddled masses yearning to break PEA"Thoroughly confused.

Ok, Kari--OP is Original Post.My siggy is based on a plaque inside the Statue Of Liberty. Since we have so many refugees from the PeaBoard---I changed the words to make it fit. Here's the original poem:The New Colossus
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
Emma Lazarus, 1883The blue is the part I used and changed.
