Has anyone seen this? I just won tickets. I've never read the book either. I do understand the story though.
Be glad you never read it, the book was HORRIBLE!!! However, I hear the Broadway version is only loosely based on the book and is very very good.
Enjoy!!
Enjoy!!

Really?? Oh man I hated that book. I forced myself to finish it. Too much political metephors for me.

It is a great show, you will love it!
I saw it last season and it was the most amazing Broadway show ever! I absolutely loved it. You are very lucky you won tickets, it sells out so quickly. I saw it on Braodway across America here in Houston. I can't wait til it comes again so I can take my girls.
I'VE SEEN IT TWICE AND WOULD GO AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. IT IS MOST AMAZING! You will have a wonderful time! Congratulations!

I liked the book as well. I read it years ago for a character study when I played the Wicked Witch. The last third of it was a bit slow but overall it was a great read. I have also read Son of a Witch, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, and Lost by the same author. I liked them all. I am now re-reading Wicked cause the library doesn't have Mirror Mirror. The music of the Broadway show is just fabulous and the costumes, sets, and effects make such an impact both visually and emotionally. Have fun!

Thank you so much for the reviews! I'm excited now! Well, I was excited before, but now that I know it's awesome, I'm even more excited!Hmmmm Leslie . . . a date with you or a date with my hubby . . . I'll have to really think about that.
That is fantastic. The book was ok....I even read the second one "Son of a Witch." I believe the musical version is much better. In fact Em knew one of the male dancers in it. He gave up a chace to come back here and work with Em's team to be in the show...lol. I'm sure it didn't take him half a second to make up his mind.
