Just got a call from my Dad and they are at the emergency room.  Grandma had another stroke this morning.  She is paralyzed on her left side and cannot speak at all.  Dad didn't think it looked very good, but the doctor isn't saying anything, yet.  Please say some prayers that she is not in pain, and if it is her time to join my Grandpa in Heaven, that she will not linger a long time, trapped in her body.  This is so not what she would want!Sorry...I am crying right now and I don't know if I am making sense. We just got back from the hospital.  Grandma is in the ICU and the doctor has said she had both a heart attack (she has a pacemaker) and a stroke.  He says because of her age there is not much they can do.  They can try to make her comfortable and keep her heart rate steady with medication, but that is it.  My other aunt is in Florida and it will take her a day to get here.  I hope she can make it back in time.  Grandma seems to know we are there, but she can't form any words.  She went in and out of sleep while I was there.  My Mom and my Aunt Jean are a mess.  Other grandchildren are driving to get here, but I'm sure the snow hasn't helped.  My brother is probably there now, and my cousins coming from West Virginia and Michigan probably will make it late tonight.  I just needed to come home...they only want 2 people in the room at a time and sitting in the waiting room was driving me nuts.  I suppose I will go to work tomorrow and try to get things ready for when I need to take off.  You know when someone lives to 94 that this day will come, but that sure doesn't make it any easier.
