Hey Cherries. Had a very nice time yesterday. Did a lot of cooking, a lot of eating, and a lot of cleaning up when I got home. I was exhausted and crashed hard last night. Even now still feeling wiped out. When I get moving it will be laundry and back to finishing up the two layouts that are just about done.
Have a great day Cherries.

Hope you get some rest today Barb. Just stopping in at lunch time. Kids are a little crazy today . To much Easter sugar maybe. Hoping to work on a challenge or two tonight, we'll see how much energy is left. Have a great day everyone.

We had a great day yesterday with our daughters and the oldest daughter's family. The weather was beautiful and we were able to open the windows and enjoy the fresh air. Lots of good good and the strawberries were a hit. Taking it easy today and finishing up my packing for the crop. HOA meeting tonight at 7.

Hey Cherries
Has a great time with family yesterday!

Didn't get many pictures at all, as my phone keeps telling me it's too full!

I'll have my sister and SIL send me some!
I can't believe NSD is soon and I'm excited! It occurred to me yesterday that I want to order some photos, even though I have a few that I could scrap! With working more IDK how much I'll get done. I KNOW it was SUPER nice to work not working last year during NSD!
I work at 5 today and idk what all I'm doing until then. Still having coffee now!
Stay blessed Cherries

Hi all!
Off to start another week. The month is flying by to me. Nice morning, chilly, but sunny. Just was out walking and now eating some yogurt. It’s my day to clean house. Started with unloading the dishwasher. It was super full after having the family all here. We enjoyed a nice evening together and a delicious Easter dinner. It’s always great to see all the grands. Looking forward to the Seattle crew here next month for the granddaughter’s graduation. Said her last day is May23. That is just crazy my oldest granddaughter is done high school and off to start a new chapter. And her brother is right behind her.
Hoping to scrap later today. We shall see. Off to start my cleaning.

Kristin, probably Easter and Halloween are the two days a year that kids come to school totally hyped up on sugar! I honor you being able to deal with a classroom full of kindergartners on days like this!

Hope you're not too tired to scrap tonight!

Hello Cherries! I'm up super early this morning for some reason. Was awake at 5:30 and finally gave up trying to get back to sleep at 6:30... I'm NOT an early morning person at all! So this is unusual.
Yesterday we took it easy. Both had long naps and just hung out. Our female goose has made another nest and Steve can't find it. She spent all night by herself on it and she's looking for her ganders now. They're all still in the coop!

And the injured hen Spot decided she wasn't going to go into the coop last night. Steve couldn't find her anywhere and we were afraid that the raven had gotten her for good. But she's torturing the other chickens by being outside the coop and finding lots to eat! I had no idea these birds would be so much work and trouble! LOLOL! We're just super glad they're both okay.
I got the Cherry lift done yesterday. I used the 30 Items black and white with one accent color for this picture of my BFF's granddaughter Excie. I've tried and tried to do white space layouts like this and I've never been satisfied with my version until this one. I LOVE how it turned out! Might have to frame it and give it to her Nana!
Today my plan is to help Steve get the kitchen faucet in. He has to go to town for the hoses and hopefully will come home with a couple of packages that I'm expecting.

One is my prize for National Craft Month! While he's gone I'm going to try to do a bit of cleaning and straightening up. I desperately need to do laundry too so I'll get that all sorted and ready to go. Hoping to scrap again tonight. I only have 7 or 8 more layouts to finish the 30 Items list! So I'd love to get them done!
Hope you're all having a wonderful day!!!

Good morning cherries.
Enjoyed my chill day yesterday. Got the weekly layout and card sketch done. Completed a two pager that I had started a month ago. Even had time to begn working on my MIL's mother's day card. Dinner came out amazing. DH's smoke salmon was super delicious.
Not really interested in today being Monday but it's almost half over, so at least it's going by fast. Already did a load of laundry, dusted/vacummed the living room and did my core exercises and went on my walk. After coffee and a small breakfast, ran to the grocery store to get a few things.
Working today. Our humidity is a nasty-@$$ 97%

We have rain all around us but not here. It actually rained here yesterday - got an inch. Our flower bed sure is happy. Hoping this system moved along though. It's associated with a stationary front and that's causing havoc on my sinuses/head. Have had a headache off/on since Friday. It just llliiinnngggeeeerrrsss....kind of annoying.
Anywho...back to work for me. Hope y'all have a great day.

Whew! Easter’s over. House and kitchen are very clean and tidy still. I managed to send most of the leftovers home with everybody so I only have leftovers for about two days. Only thing needing doing today is getting all my craft stuff out of where I put it and back to the dining room, but probably not today. My back is killing me this morning. Lol
my bearded iris are blooming and are gorgeous. The color is kind of a cross between a deep burgundy and a faded orange. Very unique and pretty. They are just behind the deep blood red geraniums and next to the lavender. The colors shouldn’t go well together but they do. lol
thinking about doing absolutely nothing today. Haven’t decided yet. lol. Have a really good day
