Scrap a Day, April 15th
Hey Cherries. Another cloudy day, but at least we are headed for 65 degrees. I have a dermatology appointment this morning, then have to make a stop on the way home to make some returns. I never did place my grocery delivery order yesterday because I worked on my schedule and games for the crop all afternoon. So I’ll have to get on that when I get home, then move on to Easter baskets and tags.

Have a great day Cherries.

Good morning Barb! Good luck at the dermatologist today.

Had a wonderful dinner last night, and then DH and I just relaxed the rest of the evening. Up early today and have taken care of a load of laundry, vacummed the bedroom, did my core exercises, went on my walk and am already at my desk working today. Yesterday was peaceful, so I'm hoping the same for today.

My BIG Bella Blvd pre-order of both the doggie and kitty collections arrives today! Yippee! Super excited :)

Hope everyone has a great day

Hey Cherries 😊
Sunny and a little windy today; I believe we'll reach the 70s today. We did yesterday. 56 now, so we'll see. Might rain later.
I'm off today and tomorrow. lol FINALLY! 😂
Therapy at 5 today and I might do some card making today as well. We'll see. LOL I have chores to do too, dishes, litter boxes. (Battling the fatigue from arthritis and fibromyalgia with work.)
Oh, AND I'm thinking that my collage is done and I'm gonna get it posted today, too! 😁
Stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️😊

I can enjoy a chill day today!  May make a Target run.  DH just left for a short Avis run and should be back by lunch.
looking for a very pleasant day today, headed to 70ish and then tomorrow and Thursday back to the 40’s.  These yo-yo temps drive me crazy. Hoping for decent weather for the Easter weekend. Just praying for no snow!  Finally connected with DD about Easter dinner.  And Good Friday is grandson’s #2 birthday.  Hoping DH can take him and his brother to the Mind Craft movie.  They are off 5 days over Easter for spring break.
Getting out to walk again shortly.  Can do longer walks now the weather is warming up.  My knee seems to have finally got back to more normalish.  Don’t think it will ever be as good as the old knee, but definitely not in pain!  Which is a big deal.  Time will tell.

Hoping you all enjoy your Tuesday.

Well a bit overcast/gloomy skies here today too with a very strong breeze. But no rain predicted and around 70 today.

Had a wonderful day up in the foothills with the neighbors yesterday.  Lunch in the Pub was really good too.  The town started during the gold rush in the 1850’s-small, quaint and fun place to spend an afternoon.  And there’s a wonderful old cemetery from the pioneer days too.  At the front of the cemetery all the Irish miners are buried and at the back all the Portuguese miners are buried.  lol.

nothing going on today but a trip to the grocery.   Have a good Tuesday.  Oh and BTW my almanac says today is National “It Sucks” day lol.  But it didn’t say why so I’m off to look that up

found it!
Bruce Novotny of the website That Sucks created National That Sucks Day after he noticed that April 15 has been an unfortunate day throughout history. It is the date of when President Lincoln died in 1865 after being shot the previous evening at Ford's Theatre, and it is the date of when the RMS Titanic sank in 1912 after hitting an iceberg the previous night. April 15 is also usually Tax Day. As these things are all considered to suck, Bruce Novotny thought April 15 was an appropriate day to hold National That Sucks Day.

Yes the yo-yo temps are always rough!!! Glad you got in touch and can plan for Easter dinner! And I totally understand about the knee replacement. Mine gets stiff every so often but at least it works and doesn’t hurt!!!

Haha, me too! And it arrived early! Before lunch. So I broke it open and had it all spread out on the dining room table. My order also included the NEW Simple Stories furbaby collections too. I took a photo and you could barely see the dining room table. I sent it to DH asking him if he knew where we would be eating lunch 😂

Hello Cherries!

We slept in this morning. Taking our time getting started. Steve thinks he might know how to fix the water pump. We were both so deflated last night. This should have been a simple thing and it’s been a real mess. So fingers, toes and everything else crossed that this works!

I finished my weekly sketch last night so need to post if. Not sure what I’ll work on next. I only have a few more of the 30 items prompt to finish so maybe I’ll work on those. :)

Have a wonderful day everyone!!!!
