Hey Cherries. We are headed for 63 degrees today. Finally breaking into the 60s. I’m in today doing laundry and need to put together a grocery delivery order. I finally got back to my layout yesterday and it’s close to being done. I’ll finish that up and then need to get going on some Easter tags and a card.
Have a great day Cherries.

Barb - sounds like a great weather day! Hope you have a great day!
We are headed to the upper 70's - low 80's today. This is after we didn't get above 55 all weekend. I'm at work til 530ish today then will go home and tackle a project that I should have done this weekend, but put it off. I'm rearranging cabinets in the kitchen. I have 4 left to do. I'll do 2 tonight - or that's the goal. I started pulling things out of them last night, so that kind of forces me to finish today.
I'm looking into getting a cleaning lady to come bi-weekly, but I'm wanting to get everything like I want it before I have them come give me an estimate... Things are going to be getting so busy with Grayson when he gets to high school, that if I could just have someone come and "hit the high spots" that would be a big help.
I worked on a layout yesterday and hope to finish that tonight if I can get those aggravating cabinets rearranged!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day! After today, it's only 18 days til NSD Weekend here at ACOT!!

Beautiful day here today! Mid 60's and lots of sunshine. We had youngest DD here yesterday for Easter since the DGKs will be away for Spring Break. Lots of fun hunting for baskets and eggs. Our snowbirds are on their way home from FL so we will be having Easter with our oldest DD and family on Sunday.
Taking DGD for a nail appointment at 3 and I will get a pedi while she's getting her nails done. Good way to start the week!

I'm glad you've got better weather today!!
Good luck getting your chores done, and have fun finishing your layout, and creating those Easter cards and tags!

Good luck with those kitchen cabinets! Breaking it down into smaller steps is genius!
I think having a cleaning lady is a great idea for anyone that can afford it!

I had some help once before, and wish I could afford it now!
I hope you have a great day!Stay blessed!

Hey Cherries

it's my short day at work so I actually have time to be here today lol I overslept yesterday morning and it was rush rush rush! Work was busy enough yesterday to go by fast enough that it didn't bother me too MUCH LOL!
I came home last night and stayed on the couch for quite A while!

I caught up with yesterday's scrap a day but didn't post anything. LOL I've been catching up on the boards this morning, too!
Our weather reached the 60s and I have the door open now. I have plenty of time for everything today and I'm grateful!
I finished my layout for Manufacturer With a Twist and posted it Saturday I think. I want to do some more challenges - hopefully I can make some cards with them. I seriously need to start these thank you cards and some thinking of you cards. I've gotta LOT of people who I personally need to say these things to.
That's about it for me today!
Stay blessed Cherries

Well yesterday turned out to be a bummer for me. Had a little headache yesterday morning but just decided to ignore it. Finally took aspirin but too late. Turned into sinus migraine. By 1pm I had gotten nothing done and was immobile on the sofa. Slept there all afternoon. Bowl of soup about 8:30 and in bed not long after. Ugh. I’m fine today and have plans with a couple of the neighbors.
the weather is great. And if all goes well I will b in a small town up in the foothills antique and junk store shopping and lunch in a fabulous pub. Crossing my fingers. lol
have a merry Monday.

Happy Monday!
In from walking , only in the 30’s. Warming to around 60ish, after a crap shoot for a weekend. Going to be a yo-yo this week, snow in the forecast for Thursday. Will be anxious to see how the grandsons made out camping this past weekend.
Talking about cleaning, I need to be doing mine this morning. So, I had better get going. I don’t want to be doing my least favourite task all day.
Have a few layouts from the weekend to upload.
Hoping everyone has a great day!

It's definitely something that I'm thinking about. There are a couple of people in this area who do really well and are not super expensive - I certainly can't afford that! DH and I are sitting down and working out a budget for the rest of the year - hoping that we can start putting back additional money for retirement so that we can retire sooner than later - he just turned 50 and I'll be 44 in August. I just want to be able to enjoy our time together while we are still able!

Good morning cherries. Been a busy bee here with work and a few household chores. Today is DH's and mine 18th Wedding Anniversary. Yesterday we went out to eat (steak restaurant) and today, after work, we'll get sushi
Had a busy weekend. Saturday we went out to my uncle's ranch for a skeet shoot in honor of his and my bio dad's mother. It was supposed to happen in Oct but my cousin had passed away (their nephew) and we were all going to be at the funeral. Weather was nice and even though not everyone could make it, nice to hang out and visit for a few hours.
Yesterday, DH and I spent the morning/afternoon taking care of the Saturday and Sunday stuffs. I did laundry, dishes, made home-made granola bars and hard boil some eggs for the week. DH did gutters and other yard work.
This morning, I actually woke up with my alarm. Helped that I actually got some rest over the weekend - slept probably an hour to 2 hours LONGER than DH. I fed the pups, unloaded the dishwasher, then moved onto doing my core exercises, went on my walk. I'm feeling pretty good today.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Girl, yes! I turn 43 next month and my retirement plans are something I NEED to serious work on!!!! My savings is wiped out again; I'm kicking myself a little for not having more in savings but I ALSO know it's okay and to give myself some credit for doing so well these past few months!
