Scrap a Day, April 5th
Hey Cherries. Sorry for the late post. I couldn’t get the site to load, but I see we are back now. I went to bed late last night and slept in this morning. I need some motivation to get moving. I’m going over my mom’s house again this afternoon and packing up and clearing out more things. We are in contract now and will close before the end of the month. So we are back at it today getting everything out that we want or that we want to donate. No scrapping on the agenda for me today.

Have a great day Cherries.

Hey Cherries 😊
Was SUPER busy yesterday! My rheumatologist appointment went well! There's no new damage in my hands, which means the plaqunil is working! ☺️ My weight is down a little more, which is something I'm working on.
Then I took a Lyft to the shopping center I work at and had lunch at a Mediterranean restaurant up there. It was nice to have lunch out, even by myself! Then I had some time to relax before work.
Work went pretty well - not too busy, which was nice as I was tired! LOL!
I watched some TV before bed, including some craft room videos lol I LOVE those! Especially since we're re-organizing here!
Oh, MORE rain for the next few days- it hasn't stopped since it started a few days ago! 🤷🏻 Should've built a boat! 🤣
Louisville is definitely flooded per usual, and there's some flash flooding near me.
Today I'm working at 5, so I have a few more hours to myself before I have to get ready. I'm STILL checking out the challenges around here, and getting so MANY ideas!
Stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️☺️

Hope all goes well with the closing.  It's such a mentally and physically exhausting process.  Hugs for you.

Re: Scrap a Day, April 5th
Sprinkling off and on here today and a good day to stay in again.  We did make a run to our local meat market and picked up some steaks for dinner tonight.  It's DH's birthday and he's not a fan of eating out, so we'll be having our delicious meal at home.  Still working on organizing my craft stuff for the crop and purging while I'm doing it.  I have so much stuff to take for the swap table...  I wonder if we are having a "box swap" again soon and may need to hang on to some stuff for that.  This morning I made a card for Louise's Passover Card challenge that I will be posting shortly.  Managed to get it done in 37 minutes!!

Oh my gosh. I absolutely panicked when I couldn’t get onto the message board this morning,  it’s like they took my soap opera off the air.  Even if I don’t write something, I’m here every morning reading what’s going on with everyone.

sons coming to dinner tonight.  Making chx noodle soup.  My kids are hooked on homemade egg noodles in their soup.  I grew up with that and so did they. It’s not really soup weather but doesn’t seem to bother them.   Other than that nothing much going on today or all week.

have a super rest of your Saturday.

Re: Scrap a Day, April 5th
Hey Cherries!

My knee is a LOT better today!!! A friend makes homemade tinctures and Steve got her to add some to our frankincense cream and it worked like magic!!! I’m so glad! I did a two page layout yesterday and I’ve been on a zoom crop and working on another layout.

We had a bizarre storm last night. The wind was some of the strongest I’ve seen here! At one point it rattled the sliding door in front of my current scrappy table so hard I thought it was going to break! But it didn’t rain until early this morning when the wind died down a lot! Very strange. Thankfully we kept power and didn’t lose any trees!!!

Hope you’re having a great Saturday!!!!
