I just saw the post on a photo printer come up. I have an Epsom Picture Mate and searching for what paper you use? I am not happy with what I am using. Are you using glossy or matte?? I prefer matte, but not happy with what I am currently using. Suggestions welcome.

Staples Supreme Satin photo paper is my go to.

It's pricey but I've found it for a lot less on ebay.

I have a different epson photo printer. I use Epson premium glossy photo paper. I think the photos come out great. The regular glossy is not as good as the premium glossy. I haven’t tried the matte.

I have an Epson printer also. I use glossy paper. I buy the Office Depot brand because it's cheaper than the Epson brand and it works great.

i don't have the same printer as you but i have learned to use the same manufacturer's photo paper for the best results. good luck in finding what works best for you! i despise glossy photos and always try to go for matte whenever possible, but it seems a lot of companies who make printers and paper only offer glossy options.

I used to use the HP Premium Plus matte finish but I didn't like how it printed with my new EPSON printer. I buy the EPSON Ultra Premium Glossy now and love it. It's a nice heavy paper and the photos print out amazing. I will never use any other paper. I priced it online and found that it's more expensive than when Staples has it on sale. Amazon is always OOS and obviously because they have the lowest price. I buy the 25 count pack when it's on sale and get 2 of them. Right now it's $20.59 for the 25 count and worth every cent.

I use matte paper, but I have found that with my Epson, the Epson paper gives the best results. Go figure! I get Epson Presentation Paper Matte and Premium Presentation Paper Matte. The only difference is the Premium is thicker and double-sided (I use it for printing layouts).
