Hey Cherries. We are headed for 78 degrees today! I’ll be out all day as my son-in-law’s cousin’s wife has a place out east on the Island where she collects things for donation and then gives them out to her community. So he and DD and I are going over to my mom’s house today and packing up his truck with many of her things that we will donate to her, then drive them out there. Bittersweet but at least mom’s things will get used by someone who needs them. I expect to be out all afternoon and then exhausted when I get home. So no scrapping for me today.
Have a great day Cherries.

Hugs Barb! 🫂 It IS bittersweet packing and donating things. I pray that you have comfort and healing as you go through this. I hope you're able to rest well when you're done, too!pawprints wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 9:44 amHey Cherries. We are headed for 78 degrees today! Hey Cherries
This back and forth weather wants to keep me sick but I keep fighting it off!
It's absolutely gorgeous out today! I want to sleep a little more. LOL I was wide awake at 6 this morning, eating fruit and it was yummy!
I work at 5 today and don't have plans to do much around here today.
Have a great day, Cherries!

What a great way to dispose of some of your mom’s treasures. I bet you will be pooped when you get back.

I have been up and out the door early. Got home and most things put away. Off for a haircut next and will pick up grandson #1 on the way home. He likes to spend Saturdays over here playing his video game in peace. Also put a pot of chili in the slow cooker.
Woke up to snow on the ground this morning. Most of it seems to have melted. Only 31 out. Shock to the system after some days of almost 70 this past week. Time to bundle up again.
Until later! Hope you have a fabulous Saturday!

Hi Cherries! Not as warm or sunny today as yesterday but it’s still warmish. Only 43 today but 51 and sunshine later in the week!!!
Yesterday I was able to play a bit and got a layout done! But I have to be careful how I sit at my table. My knee is so much better though! I’m planning to play as much as possible today and tomorrow. Can’t believe it’s almost April already!!!
Hope you’re all having a wonderful day!!!

Well mid 60’s and no rain expected today but lots of clouds and not a lot of blue sky. And lots of rain predicted for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and cooler weather for sure. I thought last week maybe time to turn off the heater and have the system serviced when we had those 80 degree days. Lol
nothing going on today. I didn’t make it to the grocery yesterday so should do that I guess. I did get the laundry done yesterday. The beans and cornbread for dinner were well received. In fact My sons were quite happy with “winter ” comfort food. Simple lads that they are. Hahahaha

Happy Saturday Afternoon!
DH and I slept in this morning and I got up and finished a layout while he made brunch... We went to see his Mom afterwards and now we are home for the day. I'm in my scrapbook room watching the Tennessee Lady Vols play and then I'll do a load or two of laundry before bed.
