Scrap a Day, March 24th
Hey Cherries. Rainy chilly day here. 41 but feels like 27. I’m in all day which is fine by me. Laundry today and I have some phone calls to make, and I hope to scrap another layout. That’s my plan for today.

Have a great day Cherries.

Hey, Cherries!  We're really windy and sitting at 40 degrees!  Spring is nowhere to be seen around here!

I FINALLY have caught up on my workload, so today I can concentrate on all the house stuff that's been getting ignored!  Mopping and laundry on the list for me today!

Hope everyone has a great start to their week!
OCD is not an adjective.  It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized.  It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. 💙 I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son. 💙

Cold, but sunny, here.  We had all that rain and gloom this past weekend.  My cleaning lady is here, so I was up and at 'em early this morning. Eliza is at doggie daycare, and Artemis is kitty-loafing on the carpet next to my computer desk. lol  She is not fond of the cleaning lady's sweeper, so she will want out soon, I think.

Tons of cleaning and organizing, folding laundry, etc., but I am ready to take a break and do a little scrapping!

Sounds like a good plan to me, Barb! ESPECIALLY the scrappin' part! 😉 I'm sorry it's cold there though - it's chilly here again, too- for the moment. (Come on, Spring!)
😊 Have a wonderful day, Barb! 🌹

Hey neighbor - I'm waiting for spring, too! 😜 😂 It was here for two days, WHERE did it go?! 😂
I'm glad you've finally gotten caught up with work stuff and now you can get to your housework! I know firsthand how out of control things can get in JUST a short time! 😜
You have a lovely day, Laura! 💐

It’s cloudy here too. But the Chinook winds are blowing and we are due to warm up this week. Already 52 out!!!

Washing sheets and towels this morning!  Not sure what else I will get up to. Have more layouts I need to photograph and upload. And back on pick up patrol for the grandson.

Gave a great start to your week!

Awww poor Artemis! 😉 I know my cat Jazz HATED the vacuum cleaner and one time the vacuum caught my skirt and this cats eyes bulged out like in a cartoon! 😂 😂 😂 I think he thought it was eating me! 😂 😂 😂
I hope you get some of your chores done today so you can get scrappy happy! 😊 EVERYONE deserves a break! 😉

Kudos to you for getting your laundry done so early! 😉 Looking forward to your layouts, Leslee! Seems you've been on a roll! 😊

Hey Cherries 😊
WHERE is Spring? 😂 It's supposed to reach 60 today but I have the heat on right now!
Been a busy couple of days for me.  Yesterday I ended up working late for a coworker who ALSO sent me some cash to stay and cover for her! It was a win-win for me! 💯 I was able to get more time on the clock AND buy a few more groceries!
Off the next two days. Today I plan on doing junking some more clutter, and moving some things around. (Some stuff from the middle goes into my bedroom, some go in the living room - some arts and crafts stuff in the living room are going to the middle room!)
It feels good to get some things done around here. I mean, working and having a cold have taken a LOT of my energy this week; I would like to see faster results with this changing around of the rooms but I have to remind myself that everything takes time!
(Incidentally, I'm STILL very slowly reading Decluttering At The Speed of Life. It's a good book!)

I never did get back to collage yet- AND the month is FLYING BY! So, I'm gonna carve out some time for that! I'm STILL wanting to do at LEAST one layout! The challenges are SO good but I've not had much extra time this month. 🤷🏻
However, I am tickled pink to have won an embossing folders giveaway! ☺️ I have a few and REALLY wanted to use more of them in the future! ESPECIALLY for card making! Y'all make some of the prettiest cards I've EVER seen! 😍

I'm still having coffee, Cherries 😂 Taking my time this morning to catch up around here; I love you Cherries! Stay blessed 🍒❤️😊

Re: Scrap a Day, March 24th
Good morning cherries. Where did the weekend go? It zoomed by way too fast....

I'm slowly getting back to normal, doing more things, but still need to be careful not to do too much and stil rest up. I had a very busy last 3 days. Friday, I made sure to reserve my energy in the morning so I could go to the monthly DAR meeting in the afternoon. I had missed in last month due to not being able to drive. And I overdid it Wednesday, so I rested up on Thursday. I drove for the first time  since I had just been released to do that as of March 18th. That trip wore me out. 30 mins going out there, 1.5 hr meeting (with a break half way) and then almost 40 mins to drive home (due to traffic and stoopid pooples.). DH knew that wore me out so we went out for Mexican food. I can't say no to chips and salsa. 😋

Saturday we went and go groceries. Home to put those away, make a quick breakfast and DH helped me start laundry. Then we were off again to Home Depot and PetCo. Home where I rested up until it was time to leave to head out to my bio dad's place. Visited a bit and had burgers and fries for dinner. I got to meet Sadie - their new dog they adopted 2 months ago. She's about 3 and a corgi mix. She is soooooooo CUTE. I was tired when we got home. Again..rested until bedtime.

Tried sleeping in but my sinuses were causing problems Sunday morning. EARLY....up at 5:10am...DH got up too and so did the pups. Rested/relaxed all morning. DH made omlettes for breakfast and we headed into town to go to Sprout's and Joann's. Bare shelves are starting to appear throughout the store. 20 to 50% off on most stuff, with Christmas 80%. They still had tons of Bazzill so I grabbed about 45 sheets of that, along with the WRMKs  Project Cart, some small Christmas gift bags, 2 TH inks, 2 embossing folders, a stamp set with a bunch of little words. A couple of home decor items. Spent a little more than expected, but still did good. Saved like $90.

Got home and was PLANNING on scrapping but my body gave out. I sat in the recliner, watched a bit of TV and passed out for 2 hrs. When I woke up, cut up the fresh pineapple, unloaded the dishwasher and DH helped me make dinner. Then watched TV until bedtime. Slept in by an hour this morning...totally shut off my alarm. I was quite sore yesterday. Feeling better today. I went on my walk this morning, cutting it in half to make sure I don't over do it. I'm still doing okay..no pain...no swollen belly..no fatigue. I'm going to try to be extra careful this week as I was invited to lunch on Thursday by the DAR ladies and would like to go.

Speaking of DAR...my application has been officially sent out to the Nation office!!! It's been a crazy wild ride. The 2 lines on my mother's side are good, just missing ONE document each to prove the lineage. So the registrar suggested we try my paternal line. I had to have two extra documents because Charlie isn't listed on my BC and the fact we had to take a paternity test 5 yrs ago. Within 2 weeks, BAM! She found one! My 7th great grandfather Lambert Lane. AND...not only is he already listed in DAR as a Patriot, his daughter and his grand daughter have already been proven. All the documentation was easy peasy...crazy...if we had started with this line to begin with..my application would have been approved before December!

So at Friday's meeting, I signed my application (along with the Registrar and Regent of the local chapter) and they will send it off today. Should here back sometime in June or July as it has been taking 3-4 months to get them complete. Whew!

Anyways...back to work for me...have a great Monday.

Rainy here also. I had a doctor's appointment this morning, so I had to venture out in the rain. Now I'm home, in my craft room and doing laundry and other rainy Monday things.

Have a great day!

Lazy day here....it started raining around 11 last night and it rained all night long and is still raining.  Everything is nice and green and my daffodils are blooming.  Not sure what the high is today, but it's currently 51 which is warmer than predicted.  Today, I'm finishing up a couple of cards and then may work on a challenge.  Tomorrow I will be gone all day doing errands and meeting KP for lunch.  Taking DGD to dress rehearsal at 5 for her recital next weekend.  So, no crafting for me tomorrow.

Sounds like the organizing is moving right along Holly.  I'm still working on organizing all of my cardstock.  Why did I start that project?  Ugh!
