Scrap a Day, March 9th

Hey Cherries. Boy I miss that extra hour. Ugh. But it will be nice when it is still light out later this evening. Yesterday I did a lot in my scrap room. I had post it notes all over the place on a lot of the drawers from when I had reorganized. I wanted to see if how I had them worked out before I labeled them. I moved them around from time to time until I liked where everything was. Yesterday I finalized after doing a little more reorganizing of some of them. They are all labeled now. While doing all that I ended up finding that all my Bo Bunny glitter pastes had completely dried up. So many pretty colors and they were all hard as a rock. Not very happy about that. They were closed very tightly too. I guess sooner or later these things dry up anyway. Ugh. Today I’ll finish the labeling. I still have a little more reorganizing to do. I need to work on some of my stamps and dies categories as some of them have outgrown their drawer. The life of a crafter. lol. Anyway things look so much better now without post it notes all over the place. I’m happy to have finally gotten it done. I’ll be back to playing in there again soon.
Have a great day Cherries.

Sounds like you had a very accomplished day Barb! I hear ya on the BB pastes. I spent a lot of money on the NUVO mousse a few years ago at the CK trade show. When I opened them, they were all dried out. A few were cracked they were so dry. I was not happy and tried all of the tips and tricks I saw on the internet web sites. Nada! I pitched them all and won't be buying them again. I am loving the TCW stencil butters!

Warming up here today and our temps are almost 70 this week. We're getting ready for our morning walk and then my day is clear of projects. Not sure what I'll be doing. If it warms enough, I may work on my flower beds a bit.

Happy Sunday Cherries. I definitely slept in this morning. About once very 3 months I have a weekend when I just crash. Body tells me it is time to rest and sleep. Went to bed at 8. slept until 7.
Had a great visit with ODS and SO yesterday. He is so busy now that he has changed fire departments. I am so happy for him, this is a MUCH better department. In the process of putting together a "fire" album just for his career.
I will be scrapping today and putting some thought into packing for our upcoming vacation to Charleston. Can, Not, Wat!!!!

LOL yes RIP that extra hour of sleep!

I miss it ALREADY too!
That's soooo AWESOME that you've gotten re-organized, Barb! It sucks when you find dried out mediums, though! I think everything acrylic based dries up eventually!

I bet those were pretty colors too!
Your use of sticky notes seems smart though!!! MUCH better than my system of moving everything too many times!
Hopefully you can relax in your newly organized space and get crafty today!

I love the warmer weather, too, Vicki! A day in the garden sounds nice!

Enjoy your day, whatever your doing!

Happy Sunday, Kristin!

So glad that you've gotten some much needed rest!

Our bodies have anyway of making us rest when it needs it, huh?
Vacation plans sound like fun to work on!

Glad you got to see DS and his SO and had a great time!

Totally cool that his new department is MUCH better!!

Stay blessed, Kristin!

Hey Cherries
RIP that extra hour of sleep!

I laid down early to read because I knew morning would come earlier lol I stayed up too late reading maybe but that is what happens sometimes!
I'm working 12-7 for a friend today; so grateful to have these extra hours! Bills don't stop and then there's everything else we have to pay for LoL wish my cats would get jobs but maybe mousing is enough!

I'm in a silly mood lol!
I worked on a collage yesterday and it was fun to work on for sure! I have other bits to add to it, and I warped the paper a little bit. I might have to flatten it down a bit before I can continue. STILL, it's fun! It JUST feels good to get artsy craftsy again! Omer would DEFINITELY approve!

I'm looking forward to a craftier month for sure!
Stay blessed, Cherries!

I did the same on the post it’s on my drawers. I’m still figuring it out so I haven’t made the finalized tags yet.
I also found my BB glitter pastes all dried up. Makes me

since I had them very tight and in plastic baggies. Geeze.
Glad that you got a lot of organization done and made your scrappy place better making you feel better too

Happy Sunday. We have some sunshine today which is lovely. We are headed for 70s this week and I’m looking forward to it so much!
after being so sick last weekend into the past week I’ve needed to catch up on all things house cleaning and laundry wise. I have just about all of it done ! I worked on it Friday- all day yesterday and since early this morning. It’s crazy how fast things go downhill !
so not sure if I will be crafty or not. I need to do some cleaning in the garage too. We will see.
have a great day!

Today is our last day out in Seattle with the DD and her husband. It’s very nice out , although rain predicted later. Going out for pancakes. We did get to visit with Curtis’ step mum. And I braved Costco with the DD yesterday. Pretty chill weekend and back on the road in the morning.

What a great idea to put post it notes on things until you know if you like it or not!!! I’ll have to remember that! Organizing is a big job but when it’s finished it’s always a great thing! Have fun playing!!!!
