I don't know if this got mentioned anywhere else.

It's been sold to Nicole Crafts. (Some people might be familiar with AC Moore which closed all their stores. They had bought them out years ago.)  They already own Notions marketing (appears to have been acquired 2 years ago), Spellbinders, Simon Says Stamp, Hero Arts, and Tonic Studios. Sounds like they're becoming the Walmart/Amazon of crafting.

Yes, so sad... we had a thread going about it earlier this past week.

Yep. Companies just gobble up other companies.

I have Nicole Crafts branded alcohol markers that I got from AC Moore. They're not good quality. 

I know Vicki Boutin moved on, but I hope the other AC "brands" survive, especially Maggie Holmes... 

Thanks for posting about this. I saw a mention of Nicole Crafts...maybe it was on Paige Evans's blog, not sure. I forgot to look up what they're about though...I'd never heard of them.
Interesting that they own Spellbinders and Hero Arts. I get emails from those two, so at least they're going strong.
I'm glad Vicki Boutin and Paige Evans found a home, and am hopeful about AC products...but the news isn't encouraging!

As long as they don't end up going bankrupt themselves and shut it all down!!!

My thoughts! LOL!
I ALSO just hope the people working for the different manufacturers keep their jobs! The manufacturers themselves, but even the people behind the scenes! 
It's a sad time when so many companies are closing!
