Scrap a Day, February 26th

Hey Cherries. I had a dermatology appointment this morning and have the rest of the day free to scrap. I have a layout I was working on yesterday almost finished then will start on another. First I have to do some picking up around here and start washing doggie blankets and towels. We are headed for 53 degrees again today, and a mushy, melty yard makes for one muddy Twinkie.
Have a great day Cherries.

Good morning. Beautiful weather here today. I may actually clean the garden. Bulbs are starting to pop up so Spring is definitely in sight!
I should probably finish the layout on my table since it is almost done and for some of the February challenges. February is almost over!
Have a great day!

Hey Cherries
In the 50s here, too- YAY!

I'm waiting for deliveries today - meds and groceries. My BFF in NC wanted to do something nice so she's sending stuff to make spaghetti and meatballs with, plus a cake! Yum!
I had fun scrappin' yesterday and plan on doing some more of it today!
Stay blessed Cherries

Ugh I am not used to being up this early. Younger DS was here yesterday doing yard work and I went out and also did yard work with him. I was tired last night as a consequence and went to bed early and now am up early. lol
lunch out with a friend today. And amazingly enough I did all 6 of the challenges for Laura’s VDP! May finally b coming out of the doldrums. Although weather guy has changed his mind and said spring is not here yet. Cold and wet by the weekend.
Have a wicked good Wednesday.

It's a beautiful day here again and we're already at 56. Our high is 57 but it's supposed to rain later this evening. Made an early morning run to the PO to mail off some paperwork to my siblings. Finally and hopefully done with estate issues for my mom who passed 5 years ago in September. So glad it's almost done. I need to pay an invoice and close out the bank account. What a long process.
DH and I did our morning walk and now having some lunch. Then I need to get some pictures and cards done.

I don’t like being up early either. Have fun at lunch with your friend. Congrats on finishing all of the VDP challenges! Hope your weather guy is wrong!

Hola cherries! Can't believe it's already afternoon! We are nice and warm and super sunny! 80 degrees!
Had a minor setback today. Think I did too much, too soon, despite being cleared to do some things like unload the dishwasher, laundry, walking more, and sitting at my desk to work. Monday, after feeding the pups, I unloaded the dishwasher and did a load of laundry, worked most of the day at my desk. By 4:40, I was tapped out. No pain. Yesterday, fed the pups, did a load of laundry, worked most of the morning on my laptop, before moving into my office. I was feeling a little off, slightly bloated....but made dinner. Probably shouldn't have. Loaded dishwasher while dinner started and ran it. This morning, fed the pups, unloaded the dishwasher, washed bed sheets and started dusting the bedroom when I started to experience some cramping. I knew I had over done it. DH KNEW I had over done it. I was thinking to myself I'm going to have sit and rest today and DH went ahead and flat out said it! So that's basically what I'm doing today. I showered, had a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast and made my coffee. Been working from my laptop all day. Took ibuprofen, watched a few shows on our DVR. DH came home for lunch and after we ate, he was cleaning up. I was about to pick up the small pot from the stove when w/out turning around he says "Uh uh...leave it".

Like he KNEW I was going to pick that up. So yeah....back in the recliner, working and watching a movie on NetFlix.
Even though I got cleared to do those things, I'm guessing I'm not supposed to do all of those things all at once. But today, I learned....will try to refrain from doing "too much". Sigh....
Anyways, going to get back to work. Have a great day!

Vicki, I hope that’s the end of the estate issues! Have fun scrapping today!

Sorry you’re hurting but glad you realized your limitations! One thing at a time! lol! I get it though. We all do things like that. Take good care of yourself!

Hey Cherries! It’s a major storm here today. Thankfully we aren’t getting the brunt of it. Hardly any wind here but got 2” of rain overnight! And it’s still pouring! Yesterday the ferry people canceled today’s sailing. 60 mph wind gusts on land are REALLY bad on the ocean and they’d be much stronger.
My plan for today is to rest and hopefully scrap later. Woke up with asthma symptoms so need to take it easy.
Have a very scrappy day Cherries!!!
