Scrap a Day, February 23rd

Hey Cherries. The kids went home last night and I crashed hard. We had a lot of fun and now I have a pile of towels and a bunch of sheets and throw blankets to wash. Totally worth it though. The next few days will be all about getting my scrap on as I have a lot of challenges I haven’t gotten to yet. That’s the plan.

Hope you all have a great day.

Good morning, Cherries!
Just checking in before church.  Nursery today, then will ask them to take me off list for awhile.  Also taking food for funeral tomorrow.  We also had one yesterday.  We are an white hair church, and several are up there in age!

Happy scrapping today.  I am going to try.

What fun you had!  I know the feeling of all the laundry after our family leaves, but like you said totally worth it!
I haven’t done much crafting this month.  I hope to do more next month.  I don’t know how long I will be out of commission after surgery in April.  I will just save it all up for MSD

Good Morning.

Just relaxing in my jetted tub. My hip has really been bugging me. Get one part fixed and another breaks down. Wishing the weather might co operate so I could get out and walk. Another high wind watch for today. And with those Chinook winds come warming temps and headed up near 50F. So, crazy. A week ago we couldn’t get above 0F.

Not sure what today’s plans will be. Need to do some ironing. See if my hip might tolerate that? Hope to do more creating after being gone 2 weeks this month. Sure makes the month fly by! I uploaded a bunch of layouts yesterday I created over the last couple days.

Happy Sunday, everyone.

Hey Cherries 😊
Feeling better today! 😊 I ate a total of 4 oranges yesterday - in trying to actually do one a day, we started doing that in late December I think.
I mostly rested yesterday. I've been binging on Gilmore Girls. (Finished all of Dexter Original Sin and don't wanna watch any of the other shows we were watching at the moment.)
I've also been hunting Cherries AND checking out the new stuff from Pretty Little Scrapbook. I threw so MUCH in my basket lol! I'm NOT sure what all I'll end up getting - I STILL need to order more to get the free shipping! 😂 I will have so MANY things in this box, whenever I get it all picked out and it ships! 😂
DGD Courtney and I are turning the middle into our art room! (We DO have a pile of boxes in a corner that go out to the shed when it's warmer, but other than that, I'm free to start unboxing some things and put them back on the shelves- and she's moving a chest of drawers BACK Into that room! But she made room for a little table which was genius - she turned a shelf and dresser around to different walls and the space looks bigger!) So, I'm getting a little excited about that! (Of course, I'm moving a few things out of the living room as well as rearranging shelves in here, but I haven't started that yet.)
I work at 5 today but am gonna try to get there around 4 and get an extra hour on the clock. We'll see.
I want to spend some time in the gallery. I feel like I'm behind on checking out so MANY awesome projects! (I did do some journaling and more painting yesterday.)
I guess I'm JUST trying to do one thing at a thing, and there's definitely ALL these little projects that will keep me busy in my downtime. I'm giving myself time to rest, but I'm ALSO trying to do little things here and there to fill some time. I feel like I have ALL THIS extra time NOW - it's an illusion, for sure- it's time that I would've spent with Omer. We spent a LOT of time together even when I was doing arts and crafts, so that's a thing, too.
Anyway, stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️
