Scrap a Day, February 18th

Hey Cherries. It is cold. Our wind chill was zero earlier and right now it’s 3. Real temp is 20 and not getting out of the 20s at all today. Wish I didn’t have to go out but I have a dentist appointment. Ugh. I did scrap yesterday and have a layout that is just about done. I’ll finish that up when I get home, then start on another.

Have a great day Cherries.

Good morning. Cold here today too, but it should at least get into the high 20s by the time I go out.

My piano tuner is coming this morning, and he's late because he always is, but he texted and I'm the first appointment and i don't have to leave until 2pm. So, I'll be scrapping to the sound of keys banging (not really so bad actually).

I'm almost done with the London album which I'm excited to have done and then I have 3 more projects that's I'm behind one.

have a great day!

Good Morning, ladies!

In the deep freeze here too. Minus 16. I got groceries yesterday, so I am hibernating today. Need to put my scrapbook stuff I took on the cruise away. I want to get back in my space and work on the weekly sketch and maybe some of the Valentine Day challenges. We shall see. Still working on Eastern time zone and was up at 4:30. Hope I get readjusted soon. Crashing at 8:30 at night.

Stay safe and warm everyone!

Good morning cherries. I'm feeling much better today. Slept thru the night for the first time since my surgery. I had some lower back pain that started up yesterday evening. But after a Tramadol and some tea, and a good night's sleep, the pain is gone. I feel more like myself than I have, the last 2 weeks. I'm hoping this week I can get more things done work-wise compared to last week.

At 10:30am, I have a post-op televisit appt with my surgeon. Hoping he can tell me I'm cleared to do a little bit more. I'm aware I still can't lift/push/pull anything more than 10 lbs, but maybe I can do little things. IDK...I guess I have to wait and see what he says. I'll try to come back here to let y'all know how the appt goes.

In the meantime, I'm just working at my desk.

Hope everyone has a great day and stays warm.

You're braver than me, Barb! 😂 I NEED the dentist too but I didn't want to go in this cold! 😂 (Even though I'm further south, I'm JUST a few degrees warmer today 😂)
I DO hope your appointment goes well, and I ALSO hope you can get back to scrappin'!   That's where the fun is! 😉

Ugh you're colder than me I think! 😔 AND, I have dishes to do, too! 😂 Why is adulting so daunting?! 😂
At LEAST you got some scrappin' done!  That's JUST as important as those pesky dishes, right?! 😂

I LOVE THAT! 😊 My baby sister's grandmother had a piano and we had some fun with it! (I learned a little in middle school, and a few things have stuck but I haven't played in a zillion years lol!)
Looking forward to that London album! 😊 I think it's great that you have an album for each travel! 😊
Have a good day, Louise!

I'm glad you slept Brandy! That means you're healing well, I think! 😉 Though, yes, hopefully the DR will tell you the same! 😜☺️
Glad you're taking it relatively easy though! You'll heal faster that way! 😉
Stay blessed, Sweet Brandy! 💐

Sounds like a much needed procedure and glad you are well on your way recuperating! And yes, you pay the piper if you over do it. Take it easy, you have earned it.

Hey Cherries 😊
Okay, I'm NOT as cold as some of y'all but it's DEFINITELY a put my other leggings over my leggings kind of day! 😂 Brrr!
(One of my roommates is grumpy and thinks we should keep the heat turned way down- I'm willing to compromise but that's about it! 😂)
Anyway, I was wrong about therapy being yesterday - somehow I thought that Monday was Tuesday! (Lol and I JUST ran to put the trash can out! Lol! Snowy wet slippery cold 😂 😂 😂)
So today I'll be getting a few more things done around here. A little at a time is the trick. I'm grateful to have help here for sure!
Watching my cats play is very relaxing and entertaining, and while they're being such cuddle bugs with me lately, they're playing so well together too, and that JUST helps a LOT!
Anyway, stay blessed Cherries! And warm AND dry!!! Prayers for anyone having rough weather! Or flooding! Eek!
🍒❤️🙏🏻☺️

Scrapping while having the piano tuned would be nice! Do you play? I used to till I got into my teens and was busy doing other things. I still remember songs I used to play in my head but 35 years of typing ruined my rhythm and I haven’t had a keyboard or piano in years. I miss it sometimes. Have fun finishing the London album!
