Hey Cherries. Woke up to a gorgeous winter wonderland this morning. The trees look so beautiful totally concerned in snow. Unfortunately our temps are going to be rising and tonight it is going to rain all night. So all this pretty will wash away.
Going to be working on finishing up my house project today. I need to get it done and everything put away before my cleaning ladies get here later this afternoon. Then I can relax and maybe digi scrap while they are here.
Have a great day Cherries.

We also woke up to pretty snow, probably less than you. I've already been out to the grocery store and it was pretty warm out for snow so I assume it will melt here as well.
It is pretty warm in my house for some reason so I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt in my craft room. Here's a layout I just uploaded. I don't do too much 12x12 these days, and this one was very fun except the 2 snowflakes in the upper right are texture paste and loose glitter which I didn't anticipate containing very well, so I will have glitter on everything for a while.

We got snow too...about 3-4 inches! So pretty but it's melting already as the temp rises. DH cleaned the driveway and I did the walk and porch. Needed to get it cleaned off as we are supposed to have sleet and freezing rain tonight. Then, it would be impossible to clean. Did a bit of cleaning up around the house and now I'm having a banana shake before heading to my craft space. I need to clean up there for sure. Got all of the 31 totes purged and the remaining organized. Gheez...there were so many totes!

Hi Cherries! 3 1;2 “ of snow here overnight. 17 feels like 1 , so don’t think we are melting anytime soon. Long forecast calls for more snow Saturday. My hubby, almost 82, is like a little kid, and couldn’t wait to go outside and shovel or blow snow. I call it playing in the snow. There is no need for him to do this. But I play in craft room, he plays in the snow. LOL. Don’t worry, he only stays out , like 5 minutes at a time. He knows to be careful, but there is no holding him back. He had his insulated pants layed out last night for today. LOL

Ugh..so sorry the stomach bug hit their household! Hope you don't get anything!
Stay warm! We'll be in the 80s today before a front arrives later and our high tomorrow will be in the 40s!

Good morning cherries. Enjoy that snow (if y'all like it). We're in the 80s today until a front blow thru, dropping temps to the 40s tomorrow.
I'm back at my laptop, sitting in the recliner today. DH wasn't all too happy that I spent 4 hrs at my office desk on Monday, which wore me out (no pain though). He also wasn't happy that I knocked it down yesterday to 2 hrs at my office desk. I was doing okay but forgot to take my pain medicine in the afternoon as I wasn't in pain. My SIL and one of DH's co-workers came over because it's now Wesley's turn to get enrolled in school. DH's co-worker had to notarize it. Once they left, I was kind of in pain...and took 1/2 of pain med, then showered. DH worked late and I can tell he's a little stressed from work. I feel bad because he has to do some extra things around the house now too with my restrictions.
Anyways....woke up super early this morning since DH had to be out the door by 6am for work. I still need help feeding the dogs, so we did that and he left. I relaxed with coffee and Netflix and then tried moving to my office. Thinking I could do maybe an hour....but lasted 30 minutes.
![Sad :(](./images/smilies/smile_sad_16.png)
I'm kind of disappointed...but like DH keeps reminding me...it's only been 9 days since I had major surgery, and 8 days since I've been home. My body is trying to recover. I'm not super woman and I need to be kind and gentle to myself. Same advice I give others...lol....I just need to learn to take my own advice regarding myself. And yes, I'm aware...I'm stubborn.
Hope y'all have a great day.

Oh I love your layout, Louise! You've got the right mix of game and snow! The pictures really pop on the black background

Today is an icky day here. Snowy but slushy snow so it's really not pretty. DD shoveled this morning before she left for school. DH has tomorrow and Friday off so I'm trying to get my CE page quota done for today and some of tomorrow's - we shall see. This manuscript is quite dense so it's not going as fast as usual. Of course I still need to clean the office blinds LOL. I mailed my Galentine cards last night for this morning's pickup so I hope they get there in time. I still have to make cards for the family but those aren't being mailed.

Oh no! I hope everybody is on the mend soon! I'm glad you're there to help out! And mmmm soup....I just love soup. Over the weekend we went to BJs in person and did an Instacart order and there was a sale on Chunky soup. I got about a dozen of them. Then at BJs there was a sale and I was like, "ooooh soup..." --- DH would NOT let me buy more soup LOL! I bet your homemade soup is great!

Sorry that you found out you weren't superwoman, but neither was Lois Lane. You need to take care I mean it!!!! My sister and I have a best friend since childhood half the age between my sister and me and she had the same surgery as you - everything but one ovary. And the biopsy came back with one node malignant, so she was awfully scared. Did she listen to the doctor, NO. Is she paying for it yes!! She started bleeding again so me being a Florence Nightingale past X-ray tech I said, NOW are you going to listen??? She's diabetic and can keep her very unstable sugar at bay by walking. But like I told her not after major surgery. You have to heal.
I finally got my hearing aids this morning and yes they are really annoying when I talk. I had three complaints with them on the way home and my sister told me to shut up at least for a few hours. I needed that. They don't feel bothersome, and I can hear really good but.. I'm going to have to get used to them. Guess it takes more than the three hours they are in. Lol
Plan on scraping this afternoon, and Dolly has already bunkered down next to me. Enjoy the snow girls, we probably got an inch. Plenty for me !

We got snow, too - about 3 inches. But again, my daughter in Rehoboth Beach DE got slammed. Nothing on our agenda today so hopefully I can finish this week’s sketch.

Good morning, dear Cherries!
Barb, I would be so excited to see your beautiful snow, but - not sure about the cold for too long - lol I hope your house project goes great and you get to digi scrap today.
Louise - hurray for the shorts and t-shirt! Enjoy the attire when you can, even it only inside. Glitter is so often on the verge of spreading its beauty, wanted or not.
Vicki, I'm sure you are happy about the organized totes. I always have something, somewhere in need of organizing.
Carrie, sorry about the kiddos, just seems to be what happens with our dear littles. My DGD has 4 and the last event was Pink Eye. All good for now, which is very welcomes since DD and I are driving up there Friday for a few days with them.
Sharon, I loved reading about your DH enjoying the snow. You are such a good wife for letting him "play" in the snow!
Brandy, sweet Brandy! Your loving DH is so right - you must take care and rest so your body can repair! You will be able to carry on and do all you want in time - give your body time!

Glad you got hearing aids. I had put it off far too long. So happy with mine! After the first few days or so, when I went for my appointment I told him about the "slappy/snappy" sound when the higher pitch sounds were present. He fixed me right up on the computer. Been perfect ever since. Maybe you will just need a minor adjustment, also.

I love the look of snow and the sound as it falls! But when it starts melting I don’t like it anymore. Or when it turns to ice and won’t melt like ours is now I REALLY don’t like it! lol!
Hope your house work goes really well and you can play today!
