A Cherry on Top

Scrap a Day, February 6th
Hey Cherries. We got some snow but our temps are rising above freezing and it’s changing to rain. The only place I have to go today is to have my roots colored, which is long overdue because my girl that colors my hair has been out with the flu. It’s been going around here big time. DD and family had it and now my sister and bil have it. And they did get the flu shot too. Apparently it’s a different strain than what the shot covers. It’s a bad one too. I hope so much to avoid getting it. My appointment is later this afternoon so I’m going to be working on cleaning up my desk in my office. I finally started on it yesterday. I really let a lot go over the last 3 years and it is driving me crazy to the point where I’m now working on getting it back to being organized. So many papers that I never put away and it’s just a total mess. I keep putting it off but finally gave myself the kick that I needed to get it done. I’m so tired of not being able to find things and having no clear desk space to work on. That just drives me crazy. So I am finally tackling it.

Have a great day Cherries and stay safe if you are in the path of this icy weather.

We have the crazy weather here too, but it's a bit warmer than where you are. I'm going out to dinner with a friend tonight and it's a bit of a walk so hopefully the sidewalks won't be too slippery. But we'll walk past city hall in all it's green glory.

I'm working on my London album and I have more photos than pages so I'm trying to plan it out. Do I just leave out some photos, put some interactive pages in, or a combination of both? We were only there 5 days so the album doesn't need to be that big. That album and laundry are about it for my agenda today.

Good luck with everything today, Barb!  😊
Hey Cherries 😊
Chilly rain all night and today. Went to bed SUPER early and I'm still tired but having some coffee. I work at 12 and it's a long shift.
I emptied out a chest of drawers yesterday and put some of his clothes in a box. Tidied my bedroom up just a little. It's baby steps and I have more to do as time allows.
Stay blessed, Cherries 🍒 ❤️ 😊

Hello, Cherries!

I know it's not safe or ideal, but our trees are covered in ice and it's sooooo pretty.  But, it's already starting to rain, so I guess that will be the end of that issue!

I'm dusting today and then working on some party plans -- both for here on the MB and here at home!

Have a great day ALL!
OCD is not an adjective.  It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized.  It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. 💙 I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son. 💙

It's cold and icy here in SE PA!  All of the county schools are closed and so are most of Marylands.  Our grandkids have the day off again.  It's a good day to catch up on some projects I have started since I know I won't be going anywhere for sure!  The grass and trees are covered with ice.  Brings back not so fun memories of all the ice storms we had while living in the Poconos.  Thankfully, it hasn't affected the power and should warm up enough soon that it will be rain.  Fingers crossed...

These pics are looking out my craft space window.

Be safe out there!  We hope to steer clear of illness too.  So far, we have been very fortunate. (knocks on wood)

Barb, I hope you can avoid that nasty flu! Enjoy getting your roots done. I always love coming out of a salon looking good. :) Hope you can get your  desk cleared off quickly. Stay safe and warm!

I hope the sidewalks are clear for you to walk on safely! I think a waterfall in your album would give you space for all your pictures and not make your album too bulky.

Hey Cherries! We’re sitting in bed watching tv and the ducks swimming and diving in the lagoon. It’s cloudy today. But not warmer. At least there’s no precipitation expected!

It’s Thursday so we need to go to town. Nothing exciting at all. Lol!

Got a 2 page layout done last night. Hopefully I can play again tonight!

Well it’s been dark, windy and raining all day again. More tomorrow but then a break of 4-5 days.  Of course the weather folks are wrong a lot.

been sick most of the day with bad sinus headache and vertigo from it.  Was fine when I got up and for first couple hours. Then poof.  Spent the entire afternoon wrapped in a blanket sleeping on the sofa.   Vertigo makes me nauseous so pretty much no eating either.  Getting darn grumpy here!   Used my sinus clearing inhaler about 1/2 hour ago but so far not working.  Going to take aspirin with a Dr Pepper and see if that double shot of caffeine will help.    And, lol, find something to eat that won’t b too terrible if I puke it back up!! 🤮

stay well.

Charleneanne I am so sorry. I get vertigo and it is totally one of the worst feelings ever. I feel for you. I hope you were able to get it to go away.
