Scrap a Day, January 27th
Hey Cherries. Laundry is on my agenda today. I have a card to make and I would like to do step 3 of the progressive challenge, then I have a bunch of odds and ends to take care of around the house.

Hope you all have a great day.

Good morning, Barb!  Lots of sunshine and a high of 42 today!  Zowie...it's a heat wave.  I was up early and all my chores are done so it will be a crafty day for me.  Need to get some DT work completed.  Have a good day to all!

Good Morning, ladies!

Heat eave going on in the west too! Headed for at least 40F.

I will be busy today. Cleaning my house. Doing some laundry so I can pack tomorrow.

We got to Sams yesterday. The prices of eggs is so crazy. I noticed at the grocery store this past week they were around $6 a doz. So, out at Sams 2 doz. Were $9.78. That’s gone up from $6.68 2 weeks ago. Then I got a reality check!!! 5 doz. Eggs were $15.78. Say what??? That was like $3.15 a doz. That was a no brainer for me and I came home with 5 doz eggs. They don’t go bad and they will get eaten around here.
That’s my news for today!

Catch you tomorrow.

Re: Scrap a Day, January 27th
We had fun watching the Eagles game last night. my husband went up on the roof after the game and could see fireworks in every direction. this city is going to be so much fun over the nest 2 weeks. I bought an Eagles scarf when I went to the snow game a week ago so I'll be wearing that for the next 2 weeks.

I have a card to make and a page to finish that I started ages ago.  I really like all the challenges this month and planned to do so many of them so I really haven't done nearly as many as I hoped. I have very little going on today and tomorrow so hopefully I can do a few more.

In past years, but not every year, I have hosted a Superbowl challenge. I'm thinking about it, if I come up with a good idea, I'll do that today or tomorrow.

Hey Cherries
Just came back from talking with the landlord. Now I have to find these money orders for the rent that never got turned in. SMH. ALREADY tired today and I have to go back to work in a little while. It's only a 5 hour shift, and my sister is coming back to town and will pick me up from work.
It's a surreal time for me.
Stay blessed Cherries 🍒 ❤️ 😊

Got down to 27 last night.  Sunny and blue skies but cold.  Nothing much today.  Post office and grocery.  Did some tidying up already and need to change bed sheets in guest room.  A friend is coming for the day Wednesday and if we get busy and past 5, she will stay the night.  Lives up in foothills and doesn’t like to drive back after dark.

have a fun Monday

It was such an exciting game and I'll be wearing Eagles gear for the next two weeks! It would be great if you could host a Super Bowl Challenge again. I've always liked them.

I went for my annual Mammogram this morning and got in and out quicker than I had in the past.

I just finished and posted Step 3 of the Winter Progressive Challenge. I'm going to try to at least start this week's sketch since I missed it last week.

Your Eagles did very well yesterday. The Commanders just couldn’t command.  :(  They’re relatively young with a new coach and a rookie quarterback so maybe next year… Enjoy the festivities! And please do host a Super Bowl challenge! It will be fun!

Re: Scrap a Day, January 27th
Hey Cherries! It’s cool and rainy here today. The water in the lagoon is so still it’s like a mirror. I love that! But starting tomorrow night our temps will be dropping significantly. Winter isn’t done with us yet. Drat! We were hoping it wouldn’t get cold or snowy anymore. But right on time February starts and here comes the cold and snow.

Today we’re both getting a really late start. I need to do some cleaning. And I need to empty the kitchen cabinets that have Steve’s tools and stuff in them. They’ll have to be cleaned out so I can use them. Just going to get a box and put everything in it and let him sort things out. Lol! If I have any energy after that il like to scrap.

Yesterday I got the 3rd step in the progressive challenge and I got the weekly layout sketch done. Need to scan it and post it. I have a few more challenges I’d like to do.

Have a great day Cherries!

We watched that game!  Wow, the Eagles blew the competition away!  We also watched KC, and of course that I who we are for.  Sorry.  :)
A Super Bowl challenge sounds fun.
