Scrap a Day, January 14th

Hey Cherries. My Twinkie is ok! She is fine! The lump is just another fatty lump! It is not the cause of her groans though. He went over all of her X-rays again and most likely it’s the arthritis in her back or her left elbow causing her to groan when she lays down. She’s been doing it for quite a while now and there doesn’t seem to be any other explanation. So we continue with anti inflammatory meds when needed and also starting her on Dasiquin. She’s been on glucosamine before but it didn’t seem to agree with her. So I’ll try Daiquin chews and hope they help. I am just so relieved and thankful to God that she is ok!

It is cold again today but sunny. I’m putting a pot roast in the crock pot and have an appointment this afternoon. In between I’m going to work on some things that need to be done around the house and maybe get in my scrap room too.

Have a great day Cherries.

Good morning Barb! I'm so thankful to hear that Twinks is okay! Hope she does well with the Dasuquin. I just put Jasmine on Cosequin right after Christmas and it seems to help her out a lot, on top of her having that cyst removed from her shoulder. Shelby and Penny are on Cosequin as of today. Just needed them to finish up the glucosomine from Zesty Paws that were originally on.

Speaking of Jasmine, she is doing great. The vet tech called me yesterday to check up on her and I'll take Jasmine over their on Friday to get her stitches taken out. I was going to do it on Monday with it being a holiday and my client and her staff having the day off, but we're supposed to have an arctic front making it this far south. Temps will be in the 20s/30s Monday. Ehh...no thanks. But we'll be in the 70s on Friday so I figured that would be a better day.

Just another busy day with work. Yesterday was a MONDAY 😜

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and stay warm.

Hey Cherries 😊
I'm happy to say that I finished another layout last night, and I absolutely love it! ☺️ It feels good to be scrappin' again! (I'll post it later today.)
I've also just been staying warm, reading and watching TV, and playing with my fur babies. Or, watching them play with each other, especially the younger ones! LOL they're so cute how sometimes even the moodiest ones decide to play! ☺️
No plans today, but I do work tomorrow.
Stay blessed, Cherries! Stay warm!  🍒 ❤️😊

I'm glad Jasmine is doing so well, Brandy! (AND it's good that everyone is taking their glucosamine! Liam HATED it and would spit it out constantly! It's hard to explain to our babies how MUCH they NEED the meds sometimes, right?!) 😉
I hope you have a NO-STRESS work day! (I KNOW they exist - lol I've heard takes!) 😉
Stay blessed, Brandy! 😊

So glad Twinkie is ok Barb!

Another cold day here, I'm in my craft room trying to do another page of my London album. I've got the concept, I'm just wondering if I have a telephone embellishment. I'm pretty sure I do, I just don't know where it would be.

I'm hoping to get out for a walk this afternoon despite the cold.

I spent time this morning on the queue for Eagles playoff tickets and was much more successful than last week. Go Birds!

Great to hear Twinkie is okay!  Although, I am sorry for her arthritis!  I groan, too, with arthritis.  In fact they say that is main cause of my shoulder pain.  But they will do ann MRI after I have PT, the order of things for Medicare.

I have just been out for first time in what seems like weeks!  Almost two!  the main roads are clear, but getting out of our addition is a sheet of ice, very scary.  And one lane into it has the track, but no one must go back out because it has no track. LOL. We even have a roundabout within , and it is death defying!  I don’t know about me driving to PT tomorrow.  Ugh!

I am excited as my ACOT order is on its way.  Well, it is in Detroit, coming to Wichita.  I even looked it up on map to see where all it might go before it gets here! LOL. Do you think I am excited?

I have a Zoom today with some crafty friends; hope I get some crafting done while we are on.
Have a wonderful day!

Oh, I did post my blog yesterday.  I was wondering, how do I get these badges on my blog?

Glad Twinkie is ok. Arthritis can be painful. Before knee surgery, mine killed me every time I got up and down and climbing stairs. I get how she feels.

Sunny and cold here. Only 24f out. Need to layer up and walk.

Got my cleaning done yesterday, so I can play today. Working on some cards. Have a few birthdays at the end of the month. And gone for a couple weeks in Feb, so need to work on Valentine cards too. The grandkids love to get mail.

Hope you all enjoy a fabulous day!

So happy to hear that Twinkie is okay and hope the new med helps her.  Speaking for myself, old "Arthur" really takes a toll on us as we age.

Ooo, ice is no fun.  We had a lot here this week and there were so many accidents.  You should be able to upload your badges onto your blog as a photo?  If you would like all of your ACOT LOTW badges in a square I would be happy to do it for you.  I can edit them and send them back in PM to you.  Let me know.

I love mailing cards to the GKs.  They like getting mail.  I'm working on DGS's cards for his classroom again this year.
