Scrap a Day, January 13th

Hey Cherries. My girls both have vet appointments today. Sky’s is just a follow up, but I am really worried about Twinkie. She has been groaning when she lays down or when she is just laying down. She is fine in every other way. Plays, jumps up on the couch, chases her tennis ball. This is only when she lays down. I found a skin growth under her left leg, and then I felt a lump under her skin. I am praying it is just another fatty lump but I am scared. I’m praying that my girl is ok and doesn’t have anything bad. It scares me that she is 11 and approaching 12. She recently had X-rays and an ultrasound to try and find what is causing her to groan, and they came back good, not showing any tumors or masses. I am hoping it is not a lymph node because of the location. Hoping so much for a good outcome today.

Have a great day Cherries.

Good morning, Barb!  Aw, poor Twinkie.  I hope it is nothing serious.  Hugs!

Overcast here but sun soon, hopefully!  I have photos to take and post today.  I did get some scrapping done yesterday and hope to continue today.

Barb. Hope Twinkie is ok.  Good luck with her check up.

Vicki, Have fun crafting.

Cleaning day here and I already cleaned up a mess.  The daughter's plant tipped over when I was trying to open the blinds this morning.  That is cleaned up and moving forward.  Once done I can craft too.
Sunny this morning and no snow expected.  Hope it will warm up a little and I can walk some.  We shall see.

Have a great Monday.

Barb, I hope Twinkie is okay.  Sending good vibes.

Haven't done anything so far today except pick up.  The plan is try to post to my blog again to make it two weeks in a row! LOL  I have several photos out and cropped and some paper picked out for layouts.  Just can't get the juices going.
Have a scrappy day everyone.

I lost your blog link again, Sharon. I thought I'd saved it but now I'm not sure where it is lol!
I hope you get past your scrapper's block! ☺️ Sometimes I take a little time off, and it comes back!

Hey Cherries
I was being a grumpy grump today but slowly coming out of it! 😂 You Cherries help! ☺️
I'm gonna do some scrappin' today! I worked on some more altered playing cards yesterday, and picked out some photos and papers to scrap with. Might do some art journaling, too!
Nothing else planned for the day. (It's not as warm as it was yesterday, and I'm STILL waiting for the ice and snow to melt lol! I can't get my packages delivered right now, but I'm trying to have patience. It's ALL arts and crafts supplies! LOL! I've got plenty of those until my new ones come in!)
Stay blessed, Cherries! AND warm!  🍒❤️☺️🙏

I haven't done any today yet, maybe later.  I have been working on the Grab 5.  I am having trouble getting 5 things off that long list. Can you believe it?

Sunny, cold, rinse and repeat blah blah blah.   Only new thing going on around here is now my garbage disposal died!  And I think it’s only about maybe 12 years old. One of the first things my boys did after Alan got sick and couldn’t fix stuff around here anymore.  Seems like a garbage disposal should last longer than that.   So guess I’m a bit grumbly and grumpy this morning.  Oh well it is what it is .   Need to sweep and dust and do a bit of laundry.    🧺.  Who was it that sang that song “Monday, Monday”. Maybe the Mamas and the Papas.  lol

anyway stay warm and safe

Hey Barb, I certainly hope Twinkie is okay.

We had hair appointments earlier and went for a MAJOR change. We discussed what could possibly help my hair loss on the top and front of my head. She went much shorter and it's quite a change. I wish I could afford highlights which would look great in my shorter hair. DH is still on the fence if he likes the shorter hair.

Once we got home, my good friend/neighbor came down because she had something for me and had something for her. She says she loves my hair and says it makes me look younger! Still not so sure.

Hey Cherries!

Barb I really hope Twinkie is okay!  You don't need anything else to happen!!!!!  Hugs and prayers!

I'm still dealing with this leg spasming and making my foot numb.  Steve got the Advil from the cabin this morning but I can't see where it's helped much.  It certainly made me more tired and sleepy so I imagine a nap is in order soon.  GRRRRR!!!  I have things to DO and I don't want to be laying down!  It's still swollen and the bruising is just starting to show on my shin.  But the spasms and pain go all the way to my waist from my toes.  I can walk and climb stairs without trouble but it hurts a bit.  Everything hurts though.  Sorry.  I'm trying not to be a downer today.

I did manage to scrap the last two nights.  They're uploaded to the gallery and all the topics they belong in too.

Otherwise it's a grey day.  Not cold but not warm.  Raining a bit too.  I am enjoying watching the clouds and fog and tide especially since I can see them from the bed.  :)  I just LOVE this house!  And I want to keep putting things together but I have to deal with this leg.

I hope you're all safe and warm and healthy!

I may have missed it, but have you been to the doctor, Ginni?   It sounds to me like you might need to get that checked out!  Sending hugs and prayers for your healing.

Barb, saying a little prayer for Twinkie now.  I remember when you got her as a puppy, and it's hard to believe she is getting that much older. I hope it's just another fatty lump and that the location is what is making her groan. Hugs!

According to the weather forecast, that ice/snow isn't melting any time soon!  Going to be very cold this week!  Yay for the arts and crafts supplies!

Made it to school this morning....think it's going to be a long week, between the full moon and the ice/snow and cold!  lol  Roads not covered enough for a snow day, but the drifting certainly made my commute longer.  Nothing is melting....it was warmer this weekend, and now it is below 20 degrees for the rest of the week.

Had a good musical rehearsal this evening...things are moving along and these are terrific kids!
