Scrap a Day, December 4th
Hey Cherries. The cable tech that came yesterday found our problem. He was not happy that we are still on a temporary cable. It was in bad shape and he said he can’t believe it has lasted this long. He was really good and put up a whole new temporary cable and said that they better come and do a permanent hookup within two weeks and if they don’t to call him. He put in a detailed report of exactly what he wants them to do. So we should not have the problem of our connecting dropping anymore.

It’s cold again today but we are expected to go up into the low 40s and are expecting rain tonight. DS and I are going for our Covid vaccine today and then when we get home I want to cover the BBQ for the winter before the rain gets here. While I’m out I’m going to pick up some of the gift cards that I need too. Then back to working on sorting gifts and getting them ready to wrap.

Have a great day Cherries.

Hey Barb! 😊 I'm glad the tech guy was able to help- AND that he told you to call HIM if you have any more problems! 😊 That's VERY good! 😊
Have fun running errands and packaging up more gifts! 😊
Have a blessed day! 🍒❤️☺️

Hey Cherries 😊
Chilly morning here! 😂 It'll probably be that way for while! 😂
I'm having my coffee - I HAVE to go to work in a little while. LoL I'd rather go back to my warm bed, but the show MUST go on, right? 😂 I'll be too broke if I miss more work! 😂
I've been working on my holiday cards and I have to say, I'm REALLY loving sketches! Seems it took me a while to get the hang of them, but they've made creating my cards SUPER easy! I just have to add some finishing touches to this batch, get photos and upload them, and fill them in and send them out! That's 10 of them, but I WILL need MORE, so maybe making more after work or tomorrow. (Again, I'll use sketches!)
Lol I ALSO need to dig out some more addresses as I apparently never got around to adding them all to my planner last year. (I'm gonna start working on my new planner, too- getting my log in and passwords in there, as well as addresses and I want to go add birthdays, too! I ALWAYS MEAN to do this but it doesn't ALWAYS get done-  I'm trying change that!😉)
Anyway, have a blessed day, Dear Cherries! 🍒 ❤️☺️

Didn’t sleep great so running on fumes today. Did get the tree up and mostly decorated yesterday. Will finish it this morning, so I can get the boxes put away. Then, who knows what!

Decent out. Heading into the 40’s. Yesterday it got over 50F. Great walking weather, although the streets aren’t completely melted so I have to be careful.

Re: Scrap a Day, December 4th
Good morning!  Today is the day I make my Christmas Shopping list!  It's supposed to be in the 40's and 50's this weekend, so I am HOPING I can knock out almost everything.  But I know that won't happen, but if I can take a chunk out of it, I'll be good with that.

Nothing much going on tonight.  Kids are making dinner (chicken tenders), I'll be cleaning out the refrigerator, and taking inventory.  Then I hope we can at least get the tree set up (it's still in the bag).  I know the cats cannot wait!  lol.

I started a page last night, came up with a great title, went to bed thinking I would finish the page tonight...and I cannot remember the title I thought of !  GRrrr!!!

Have a great day!!

Re: Scrap a Day, December 4th
Good morning cherries. Had another busy day yesterday, but got stuff done. Another busy day work-wise.

Was planning on staying home all day yesterday but the dentist office called asking me if I can come in for a cleaning at 2pm. I knew I was overdue so I said sure, put me down. I go in every 6 months like clock-work. I went in last year on Dec 7th, and I should have had a cleaning back in June of this year, but never got a text/email reminder, nor did the receptionist give me a card either with my scheduled appt. Apparently they switched over to a brand new scheduling system and messed things up. So they had some openings and was just calling any of their clients that were due for a cleaning to come in. They did x-rays and I was expecting to be in some pain with not having a dental cleaning for a year, but all is well. NO change on the xrays either, so that's cool beans.

This morning, I took care of my usual stuff here - unloaded the dishwasher, dusted our bedroom and threw bedsheets in the washer. Went on my walk and showered and have already been working for about an hour and a half.

Hope y'all have a great day.

I am home from work today, since there are some big repairs being done to the house. It is a good thing because I didn't get much sleep last night and have a lot of paperwork and reimbursements and forms etc. to take care of. If I can, I'm napping in the recliner in the family room. If I can't, I guess I'll find coffee. LOL. Did record the mini album share last night.

Well it’s the last day of our autumnal heat wave. lol 65 today and dropping steadily over next couple days to averages in low 50’s.  Clouds are starting to build in too but mostly sunny so far.

I should b out working in the yard but Christmas crap is keeping me too busy.  And grocery today too plus my boys will b here for supper tonight. But I’m going lazy on that and just doing dirty tots and a salad.

I’ll b wrapping gifts to ship all weekend so I checked my wrapping paper and ribbon supply.  Lol. Yaay it’s low so guess I MUST make a trip to Hobby Lobby too before Saturday.

have a whopping good Wednesday and jingle all the way.

Woohoo!  Happy to hear that finally someone figured out your internet issues.  So frustrating for sure.  We changed providers 2 weeks ago and I can't believe how much faster it is with no problems...so far!

Yay for getting your cards done! Sketches are amazingly helpful. If nothing else they give you ideas to build from! You can rotate them, take elements off, put different elements on, the possibilities are endless! And that’s just for one sketch!!! Hope work takes it easy on you so you can create more tonight!
