Scrap a Day, November 4th
Good morning cherries! Please continue to keep Barb and her family in your thoughts as the service is scheduled for today.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I managed to get 3 layouts done yesterday (BF sketch and 2 of Flasher's challenges). I'm hoping to do the other 3 this weekend.

What's on the agenda today? Nothing exciting here - just work. I've already vacuumed/dusted the living room. It's a very windy and humid day today. Feels like June and not early November, even by our standards. 80% humidity....only cooled down to 78 overnight. Expected to be 92 for a high and due to the humidity we're expected to have a heat index too. No bueno! But a front is on its way and promises to drop our high by 20 degrees. I sure hope so!

Anywho...need to get started on work. Hope y'all have a great day!

Re: Scrap a Day, November 4th
Good morning.

We had a nice weekend, weather was warm yet again, but we felt it must be time to shut off the outside water since it is November.

I haven't done any scrapping in a number of days, and I still need to choose the winner for the progressive challenge and write down the new challenges. There seem to be less challenges this month, although maybe that's ok since there are special events. After I write them down, I may post  another challenge, something more flexible for people who want to scrap a lot this time of year.

Have a great day.

Hey Cherries 😊
I finished FHP#1 challenge last night after work! ☺️ I really like how it turned out, even though my triangles came out a little wonky, and I couldn't find my white alpha stickers LOL! No clue where they are!  😂
I DEFINITELY needed the scrappy time, though! ☺️
I work @ 12 again today, and will be dreaming of my next scrappy session! 😂
I spy a sale on stamps so I'm thinking about getting a couple of sets. I LOVE stamps so MUCH! ☺️
Have a great day, Cherries! 🍒❤️😊

Good morning

Thoughts and prayers to Barb and her family during this difficult time.

I was able to finish 3 pages over the weekend.  I'd like to plan out a few more today.  I also noticed the regular challenges were light this month.  But with the extra events going on, I feel a little overwhelmed.  And we dont have info on the Turkey Trot challenges yet!  ugh!!  lol!!  I love it though.  I'm getting a lot done.  Sticking with my goal to finish the NOLA trip before Christmas!

Nothing going on today other than stupid work.

Have a great day!

Good Morning, all!

Hope all goes well with Barb’s mums service today.

Just a rainy, dull morning on the coast. They are preparing for a snowstorm back home tomorrow. Happy to be missing it. Coming out here at this time I get to enjoy a second fall with the gorgeous leaves all in colour. Got out for a nice walk yesterday.

Not sure what we will be up to today. Yesterday peeled a bunch of apples they had picked from the in-laws trees. Made an apple crisp and a pot of apple sauce. Got them used up before they went bad.

Have a great day every one.

Re: Scrap a Day, November 4th
It looks so beautifully cool and grey and fall-ish out the windows but it  is 83 degrees and not quite noon here!  You don’t really feel the heat until you’re out there moving around and you pour sweat.  lol. Gross huh!

nothing going on today. Thinking maybe tidy up the screened in patio and sweep etc.  kids area so not filthy but could use a bit of grandma love.   💕.   I’m not a very good guest. I have issues with just sitting doing nothing all day.  And I’m missing my house, my cat, and my scrappy stuff!!!!!  lol

have a memorable Monday
