Scrap a Day, October 6th
Hey Cherries. I went to bed very late last night so I’m not quite ready to get my day started. Yesterday we had a beautiful day I even had some windows open. In October! I scrubbed Twinkie and Sky outside the weather was amazing. They are nice and clean and fluffy now. I washed 3 doggie bed covers and got 2 back on and have the third one to put back on today. Today is a free day so I do hope to get in my scrap room and finish cleaning it up so I can do some of the WCMD challenges. But first I will get on the exercise bike again. Day 9 today.

Have a great Sunday Cherries.

Sound like you got a lot done Barb, way to go.  Weather here today is yucky.  Everything is gray and drizzly and we are prepping for a possible hurricane. Laundry this morning and need to do the floors but have absolutely no motivation today.  Hoping to scrap a bit today but this might just be a lazy day on the couch kind of day. Let's see.... Have a great day cherries  😊

We are looking at a beautiful fall day today - heading to the pumpkin patch!  So excited - this will be my granddaughter's first!

I finished 2 pages last night.  Didn't do much else, which does not make me happy.  And I was so happy to be scrapping, I didn't do the treadmill for the 2nd day in a row...yuck.  I will make sure I get on it tonight though - tomorrow is weigh in.

Spent the morning working on more pages.  I just finished my 2nd of the day.  Hoping to get more done later on.  And I 'm sure I will have. gazillions of pictures from today too.

Have a great day!!!

Hi Cherries !! I had plans to make cards all day yesterday and then somehow veered off course! I did a bunch of organizing and rearranging my art and craft supplies/books/ and other things downstairs. More stuff that had not been unpacked has been unpacked- gone through and a ton more that’s going in the bin! It feels good. I stayed in that one area and Mr. Ollie mostly rested.
can’t remember if told you guys, my sweet boy had to go to the vet Thursday. Out of nowhere weds night at bedtime he got off the couch for bedtime and started screaming and crying! Oh my it was horrible, at first thought i thought paw! Nope but when i brushed his shoulder he started yelping!!! All was fine right up to this point no crying/ limping - no warning signs. He has severe tendinitis in his shoulder and the vet thinks maybe a sprain/strained muscle around his shoulder. He is on anti- inflammatory and pain meds. You know how hard it is to keep a lab still???  He is doing ok. Better of course in the mornings, I’m trying to be still so he will and still get stuff done. He wants no part of the kennel and would cause more issues if I try to make him ( as if! I could lol) so that’s not an option. So it may be scrapping to keep him sleeping ! Lol
we will see. He has been resting fairly well this morning. Of course I was gone a couple hours at church so he slept then .
I hope the hurricane fizzles.

Slow day for me today.  We hosted family for lunch and dinner yesterday.  The first shift arrived at 11am and left at 2pm.  The second shift arrived at 3pm and left at 9:30pm.  Long day for us but it was a beautiful day and we had such a nice visit with everyone.  Loaded the dishwasher at 9:45pm and crawled to bed at 10 to watch the Yankee game.  This morning DH and I are hosting ourselves....leftovers.

Morning.  Hotter than the gates to Hades again today. But for the third time in the last couple weeks the weather guy says this should b the last triple digit day this year!  lol  103 today and 99 tomorrow.  Ugh.

stayed indoors all day yesterday except for short walk in the evening just before sundown.  Finished the final couple Christmas cards.  Now today WCMD challenges.  BTW for those of us who hunt cherries for points, you also get points for commenting in the gallery and there are soooo many unique and beautiful cards posted yesterday and already today.

got my ballot in the mail yesterday.   Going to fill it out and drop it over at City Hall tomorrow .   I’m almost 80 and have never missed voting since I turned 21 and registered.   Mostly I think cause I was raised that way but also cause I like to gripe and if you don’t vote then you can’t gripe!

have a super Sunday

It is so heartbreaking when they scream and cry and yelp in pain. Poor baby. I hope he heals quickly. Yes it is so hard to keep a lab still all day. ((Hugs))

Kristin, I know you guys know how to handle hurricanes!  But still be safe!  I can't believe there's 3 named storms out there headed your way!  Crazy! Reminds me of the year we got hit by Wilma.  NO fun at all!  Have a good day whatever you decide to do!

Awww poor Mr Ollie!  I hope the anti-inflamatories help him quickly! Our Baxter had some arthritis issues too.  Somehow he managed to break his neck and survived!  We think he didn't realize the doggie door was closed and went full speed at it to chase another possum in the yard.  I had to go to a medical supply store and ask for a soft neck brace for him.  They thought I was insane!  But that's what the vet recommended and it worked!!!  :)  But it's really hard to se our fur babies suffering.  I hope you can keep him quiet while you're scrapping!
