Hey Cherries. Going to see my mom today. Bringing lunch and seeing if she needs to go anywhere or needs anything done. I did start the big cleanup in my scrap room yesterday. It’s a project for sure. Lol.
Have a great day Cherries.

Good morning - TGIF!!
It's a cold, rainy, gloomy day so far. Makes me want to crawl back into bed.
I was irritated last night that both kids made plans, so no one was going to come to the grocery store with me, so I did not go.
I can't deal with the complaining that I forgot something they asked for, so I make them come with me now...lol
I finished off the last of the spaghetti. So at least the refrigerator is clean.
I stayed at my desk and planned out a few pages. I was so into trying to find supplies for the progressive challenge, I totally zoned out.
When the kids came home it was almost 8pm. THAT"S when I realized I FORGOT to do the treadmill!! lol
I changed so fast and got it done! woohoo!!!
I had to make sure I did it last night because I wont be able to tonight. School football game tonight. I'm hoping the weather improves - I don't want to sit out there in the rain. Even though Jason isn't playing yet, it's still fun to be there.
I might get the grocery shopping done before the game. I just don't want to do it over the weekend.
Another slow day at work - I'll be planning more pages.
Have a great day!

Out to the local butcher shop for a couple of steaks for dinner tomorrow. Also some fresh jerky to DH. Not much on my agenda today. Hoping to scrap the day away!

Hey Cherries
Work kicked my tail last night! I'm off today with JUST therapy at 3; it's on zoom so I don't EVEN have to leave the house. This is great because my car is still down and while Omer needs to look at the underneath, he's STILL feeling lousy from that stomach bug.
I got step one of the progressive challenge done before work yesterday, and I'm gonna start on the art journal today!
Stay blessed, Cherries!

I love your determination Wendy! You’ve been really good about getting on that treadmill!!! Teens are so hard to deal with! You’re smart to make them come with you to the store. Have fun planning pages!

I love zoom appointments! That’s about the only good thing to come out of the lockdowns! Hope Omer feels better really soon! Enjoy your day off and playing with the art journal!

Hi Cherries! It’s another beautiful October day. Another respite from the gloomy rainy days. There’s another front coming through tomorrow so we’re enjoying it while we can. When I’m done doing what I have to in the cabin I’ll take my laptop and finish everything at the house.
We Alaskans get paid annually from the oil reserves and that was deposited into our account yesterday. So we did a bunch of online shopping. Got the living room, bedroom and snug (what the British call a den/tv room) lamps, also a mattress for our new bed that Steve is building and a pair of really pretty kerosene lamp sconces for the master bathroom. I also ordered everything I need for Noah and Garrett’s albums about our time with them in Nashville. Steve needs a pair of shoes and a tablet so I got some new Nuvo drops and cardstock too.
And I got the inks I need to make the Christmas cards.
Today I need to order the pictures, add up our purchases and see what’s left so I can make big payments on the credit cards. I also need to decide what digital element I want for my cards. I’ve got an idea and I hope it works. Plus doing a few chores here. A busy day again!! Hopefully after I get all that done I can start playing again!
Have a fantabulous Friday!!!

Today apparently is an I’m an old person day. Between grocery shopping/errands, cleaning all my scrappy stuff up because we needed the area for family dinner last night, cooking a nice meal, and the stupid hot weather, I was exhausted. Went to bed at 1am and didn’t wake up this morning until 10:30. Still setting on the sofa in my housecoat and it’s noon!
Been fighting ants
in the kitchen last 2-3 days now. Whatever I do, little ant poison thingies, Windex (yes it kills ants), scrubbing with Comet, etc all works for a little while and then boom I come into the kitchen and the place is alive with scads and scads of ants. I know it’s seasonal and weather related and won’t last much longer but I hate ants.
so not going anywhere today at all. I got some white cardstock while out yesterday and going to put cards together . Maybe make a few extra Christmas cards or some Halloween cards or nothing. Leftovers for supper means no cooking either.
have a favorable Friday and stay loose.

Sounds like you had a fun "let your fingers do the shopping" day! Can't wait to see your Christmas cards and Nashville pages.

Today was laundry day and usually I like going to the laundromat (guilt-free reading time!) but lately it's just been crazy. I always seem to get there at just the wrong time to get machines or folding tables or whatever. It just took a lot out of me today. Then DD usually folds and puts everything away but a) had an assignment to finish that was due today and then BFF came over to help her work on a costume for a party later. So I'm just dragging with everything going on. I am already behind on my manuscript and another one came in.
The good thing is the Mets advanced (Hey Louise! You watching the game tomorrow?
). There is a watch party tomorrow but I said I wasn't available. I'd rather watch it on TV and go to Target with DH and get some copy editing done.
Right now I am working on my Progressive step 1...whew!!!

It is a gorgeous, early October afternoon! We had 1/2 a day at school for parent/teacher conferences, then I got to come home and enjoy it. I decided to do a little scrapping for the Progressive Challenge step 1 and now I am out to my happy place (my back deck).

I hope you had a great day with your Mom, Barb. My scrap room needs cleaning so badly, but I just keep ignoring it. Sigh

I hate ants, too! The only thing that has ever worked for us is the Terro ant bait gel that you put on little scraps of cardboard. They love to take it back to their nests and after a couple weeks, no more ants!
