Hey Cherries. Another day with no plans or appointments! I am loving this week! I am going to get in my scrap room today and start cleaning it up. I think I just got so burnt out after doing all those invitations and seating cards. But now I need to get back in there. But first I have to get on the exercise bike. Today will be the 6th day in a row. Woo hoo! lol.

Have a great day Cherries.

Good morning!

I planned out a few pages last night.  Ate spaghetti for dinner last night - a half hour later, I did the treadmill.  Went to bed around 10 and at 1:00, woke up with the WORST heartburn ever!  Took meds and fell asleep 5 minutes later.  Then around 3:45 woke up again with the same problem.  Maybe doing the treadmill after dinner wasnt a good idea??  Maybe the sauce was too acidic?  Maybe a combination of both?  IDK...but I do not want to do that again!

We are having leftovers or whatever you can find in the fridge (YOYO) for dinner tonight.  Then my son and I are going to the grocery store.  My daughter is going away again this weekend.  Feeding the men is easy and I can just grab anything, so at least I know I can focus on my eating and let them do their thing.  I have been craving salads so I'm excited that I will be able to do that, while the men make their bacon burgers or whatever...lol.

Should be an easy, lazy day at work, so I can try to plan more pages.  I even brought a stack of pictures with me...lol

Have a great day!

Today is the Watch Party at the stadium - I had put in to work it but got cut and I can't say I'm upset about that lol. It's a 7pm game so I'd rather stay home and watch on TV and cross-stitch LOL. IF they win today there would be another Watch Party on Saturday and I'd probably get called to work that if I put in for it. DH and I were going to go to Target and walk around (date nigh? LOL) so I don't know what I'll do. In any case, today I'm copy editing and figuring out challenges/pics/supplies. I'll be working on the Progressive Challenge today for sure.

And speaking of exercise bikes - thanks for telling me about the one you have. DD and I are working on DH and think we are getting somewhere lol...

Forgot to mention that I'm running out to the library today. I've been in the house all week at the desk and doing house stuff and I can feel the effects of not having had any long walks or "lots of steps" days! What has become of me ROFL?!   I need to come up with some type of exercise program for myself. (arms, back, thighs) I don't want to lose the progress I've made. My forearms and biceps are "buff" as DD says but the backs of my arms look like a bag of pudding

Ooh, sorry about the heartburn! I love tomatoes but they don't always love me! I used to have the worst nighttime heartburn and my dr put me on Prilosec. I also take some Tums before bed if I've had something "iffy" for dinner lol.

Ugh on the heartburn.  Tomato sauce did the same to me and we changed to marinara.  That doesn’t bother me?  Maybe try that.

We’re taking the day off for ourselves today.  Did a couple of errands on the way to the casino for a couple of hours. Then stopping for a late lunch/early dinner.

Prilosec is my go to.  5 minutes later, I was fine.  But when it came back again, I was not happy

😂 😂 😂 A bag of pudding?! 😂 That's too funny! 😂 I've got pudding EVERYWHERE! 😂
I'm trying to sneak in more exercise, too, though- it's a challenge sometimes isn't it? Life can be so busy! Lol we keep trying, though! 😉 Getting your steps in counts, too, I think! 😆
Awesome that you're planning out some pages . I'm definitely wanting to do the progressive challenge, too! 😊 Have an awesome day! 😊

Hey Cherries 😊 Just waking up with some coffee here. I stayed up late watching TV with Omer lol. I was tired though, work wore me out yesterday! It was busy, there's a little remodeling project going on and we had a floating manager filling in. Lol Murphy's Law was at play! 😂 I survived the shift though! 😂 Gonna do it again in a few hours! 😂 😂 😂
I got the art journal in the mail and I'm excited to play with it! 🤩So I may start on that today. 😊 I'm also planning on started on the first step for the progressive challenge.
That's about it for me. Stay blessed Cherries 🍒 ❤️ 😊

Heartburn is no bueno. I haven't had spaghetti in several years as DH is diabetic so I no longer make that. But as for heart burn, we too used to have to take Pepcid or TUMS and we stopped doing that too. I haven't taken meds for heart burn in over a decade. It's always best to sit up right for about 3-4 hours AFTER eating before you lie down and go to bed. So if you went to bed at 10, then eating dinner between 6 and 7pm would have eased the heartburn.

If I eat something that I know *might* give me heartburn, I take a shot of tequila. Not the nasty mex-cal stuff. No. 100% pure agave - Blancho. No salt/lime either. I have been doing that for probably 7 or 8 years now and haven't experienced any issues.

Hope you feel better and salads sound great!
