Scrap a Day, September 30th

Hey Cherries. It’s so hard to believe it’s the last day of September already. No plans today but to do laundry and make some phone calls that need to be made, then catch up on leaving love on my challenges and try and get another layout in.

Hope you all have a great day.

Good morning Barb! Hope you get everything done.

Hello cherries. Being the end of the month, end of a quarter AND the last day of a FY, got lots going on work-wise.

Friday night, after work, DH and I went into town for dinner, then walked it off by going to Kohl's and Sprouts. Got Jasper a toy and tons of clothes for school for his birthday party which is Saturday. Then DH got his diabetic-friendly snacks at Sprouts. Home to relax a bit, then bed. Up early on Saturday. Got 4 loads of laundry done, washed a load of towels and a load of doggie blankets; vacummed the house, dusted my office and tidied up a bit in here. Ran 3 errands and relaxed a bit before my 2 scrappy friends came over. One showed up at 3pm, and the other after 6pm. We ordered pizza and I managed to get only 3 layouts done. Not alot as mentally, my head wasn't in it. I'll try to get those uploaded today. I did put tons of pictures in pocket pages - just the boys opening their gifts. I finished Jasper's 2nd and 3rd birthdays and got half way thru Draven's 4th birthday. My 2 friends left early Sunday (one left at 12:30 and the other left at 3). Worked out as it allowed me and DH to relax and chill before back to work routine.

Already did 2 loads of laundry this morning, went on my walk and started the dishwasher too.

Nothing else going on here except work. Have a great day everyone.

Overcast again today.  It rained all night long.  Dry this morning so we washed the 2nd car.  Best to do when the sun isn't on it.  Hitting the shower and then finishing up a LO before the end of the day.

Scrapping with friends is always fun, but I think more talking gets done than anything.  At least for me.

Good morning

Is it Friday yet??  I started feeling yucky yesterday.  I'm all stuffed up and my throat hurts a bit.  I still managed to get on the treadmill yesterday and I fully intend to today.  I lost 1 pound this week!  Back on track!  I think the treadmill is really helping keep my mind on this challenge.

I have to pick my daughter up from the airport tonight and then race my son to physical therapy.  I was planning on breakfast for dinner, but I'm not sure how much time I will have when I get home.  It will most likely end up being leftovers from last night or YOYO (you're on your own).

I have a feeling this is going to be a long boring week at work.  Even though today is the last day of the month, there isn't much to do this time around.

I finished all the September challenges and about half of the prompt challenges.  I'm looking forward to the October challenges - I just hope they don't all revolve around Halloween.  I don't have much to work with and I really want to finish up NOLA.

Have a great day!

One of the girls T.A.L.K.S. It really makes it hard to think and scrap. But I just roll with it because her home life isn't the greatest, her DH is a POS and her mother's family are F***tards. So she usually just needs to break away from her dumpster fire life. I just listen, give her advice (even though I know she won't take it).

Sorry you're sick Wendy. Make sure you stay hydrated, get some vitamins in you and your rest. If you don't take care of yourself, you can't be there for your family. Feel better

Happy Monday! Not much going on here. The rain is pretty much gone so I went out his morning to mail the art journal. However, the post office had no internet so I couldn't use my credit card and I wasn't carrying cash, so I walked to a different most office and now it's mailed and I have gotten quite a few steps in.

I finished up a 2 page layout that I started last week. These are humpback whales we saw on our trip and they were so close and breaching so much I was able to take this from a boat with my iPhone.

Awww Wendy! I hope you feel better SOON! 🤗
I don't have much to scrap in the way of Halloween either LOL! Not that I have printed anyway! 😂
I like that term "YOYO" 😂 I'm gonna have to use that! 😆
Congrats on losing another pound! You ARE inspiring ME to stay on track! So, a big thank you!! 😉
I hope you feel better and your day is fantastic!

Your photos are amazing, Louise! 🤩 I LOVE how you've gotten them done with the blue and the fold ups! 😊
Sorry the post office was a pain- I like how you're positive about it! I need to get a new stepcounter! (Though everyone says there's apps, now?!)
Looking forward to receiving the journal. I bet your pages look amazing! 😍

Hey Cherries 😊
I got TONS of sleep and am FINALLY feeling MUCH MUCH better! I hated to have to rest so MUCH, but when our bodies NEED it, it's a disserve to ignore it, I suppose. 🤷🏻 I work the next 4 days, get a day off, then work one more.
It's hard to believe that it's the last day of September! This month Flew by!
I spent a little bit of time creating some more page kits yesterday - I'm excited for new challenges! I wish I'd been able to get more scrappin' done this month, but I've been doing a LOT of journaling, and have had a few epiphanies! So that's good! Lol things to talk to my therapist about! 😂
I'm thinking we may have FINALLY gotten a break from the wet weather; I hope so. Omer STILL has to get under our car and look at it. NOT something that can be done in the rain! I've been taking Lyfts and Ubers to work. It's adding up but I'm not close enough to walk and ESPECIALLY won't walk in the rain we've had
Stay blessed Cherries!🍒 ❤️ 😊
