Hey  Cherries. Cloudy again today. We had some rain yesterday which we needed, but it was so muggy. I hope the mugginess at least cleared out. I’m going to my mom’s today. Bringing lunch and going to help her with some things she needs to have done. I hope to finish up the layout  that is on my screen before I go. It’s just about done.

Have a great day Cherries.

It poured here all day yesterday and it's so humid again that we turned the AC back on.  This morning it's 74 with 100% humidity.  The air is so thick and its spritzing rain again.  However, I just go happy mail from ACOT.  My 49 & Market Terracotta has arrived!

TGIF!!!  Hope this work day goes by quickly!  A bit gloomy today and VERY windy.

Got in my 20 minutes on the treadmill last night.  Started on a layout but then helped my son study for a test he has today.
I'm hoping to get at least 2-3 more layouts done for challenges this weekend.
I made my list of all the pics I have for Universal Studios and was mad at the duplicates I had printed....grrr!!!  so at least the stack got smaller...lol.

I think I will be home alone for most of the night.  Not sure what I will end up having for dinner.  But I am convincing myself that I do NOT need to pick anything up for sure!

Have a great day!!

Very humid here this morning also, and It as raining earlier but not raining at the moment.

The Jewish New Year is next week and I realized I forgot to order a challah which is the special bread we use. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal but we need one that is gluten-free and sesame-free to accommodate allergies here which makes it very challenging. I really needed to order one over a week ago. So, my morning has been spent calling places and looking online for something. Unfortunately , most of the places that ship them need more advance notice. I have a few other ideas, baking one isn't an option.

I hope to work on my vacation album a bit more today. Whale photos are next!

Happy Friday everyone!

well summer resurgence here.  Mid 90’s for next week with a chance for another last 100 degree day on Tuesday.  But gets dark sooner and still cools off well at night.  Lol

nothing much going on today.  Learned new foiling technique on my card making live yesterday .  Going to try it this afternoon I think. Birthday dinner last night was fun.  All three boys stayed till after 9pm.  I baked pie crust cinnamon rolls because they prefer those to cake.  All 3 boys went home full, happy and with a small package of cinnamon rolls of their own.   Ages 55, 57, 65 lol. Boys will b boys I guess!

have a fantastic Friday

Garlic and hog’s lard huh?! It probably works!!! Lol! At least it cools off at night for you. That should help a little… Glad the birthday dinner went well! Those cinnamon rolls sound heavenly! Oh and boys will DEFINITELY always be boys! I’ve got 2 brothers, 3 brothers in law and 4 grandsons! So I know about boys!!! Lolol!!!

Hi Cherries! Another grey cloudy day here. It’s not raining now but it probably will sometime today.

I can’t believe Monday is the last day of September!!! Even Steve has marveled at how fast this summer flew by!

I decided that I need to start working on Christmas cards next month. I really need to get things done early this year. I ordered what I thought was washi tape paper and it’s full page single labels.   So I need to see if they will work without having to do a lot of cutting…

Ive been scrapping nearly every night so hoping to continue that. Still need to finish putting layouts into albums too.

Have a great Friday!!!

Hi cherries. Wow, didn't realize it's already 3:30 and I'm barely getting on here. Sorry for all of y'all dealing with horrible humidity. 90% humidity or higher is a daily thing here for about 5 straight months. It's no bueno, that's for sure. But today is NICE! A front actually made it this far south and we hit a low of 66 degrees for the first time since April. Our humidity was also alot lower than usual too, first thing in the morning - only 82%. I know, I know...that's probably still nasty humidity for y'all. But for us, it's mucho nicer. We are 90 degrees now and humidity fell to 35%. It's SOOO nice NOT to have a heat index. And my a/c doesn't sound like it's working as hard either. It won't last though...humidity will be back by Monday, so we will enjoy it while it lasts.

Got a ton of work done yesterday and was brain dead afterwards. Probably because DH worked 13 hrs and we ate late. But I slept well and was up and out the door before 8am to get groceries for the week. Came home, put things away and got started on work. DH and I have a "date night" tonight. Nothing fun, just dinner and in-town errands. I was telling him a couple of days ago that it's hard to find time to shop for Jasper's bday gifts (even online) while working and all the other stuff I do around here and the party is NEXT Saturday. We actually had plans to go run errands in town tomorrow, but I felt like I was going to be rushed with doing laundry and trying to get my scrap room cleaned since I've got 2 scrappy friends coming over for the weekend. Just not enough time to do it all. So he suggested we go out to dinner AND run our errands tonight. Works for me. So we're going to Chuy's for dinner, then walk it off at Kohl's and Sprouts. So tomorrow, all I have to do is laundry and run the vacuum once more throughout the house. Maybe even start sorting pictures and going thru the challenges for the month. I haven't done anything all month, so I'll probably just stick with the sketch challenges.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
