Scrap a Day, August 21st

Hey Cherries. I’m up early today. Getting ready to go with my mom and my sister and brother-in-law to my mom’s doctor to discuss her diagnosis. My anxiety is high and my tummy is a mess. It’s chilly only 60 degrees and we went down to 53 last night. Not a fan it’s too soon for that. But at least the humidity is gone. For now.

Great weather break again today. 57 this morning and we're headed out to the grocery store for a quick run and then to the library. Not much else on the agenda today except relaxing before a busy day tomorrow.

Good morning cherries. Lots going on here. Monday was a busy work day, and did a major upgrade that evening. Yesterday, work left me with a mushy brain and was so burned out, I had 2 glasses of wine (instead of my usual ONE). Today should have been just a regular day but as I was getting out of the shower, my brother called me. My SIL is NOT getting any better with whatever the boys handed down to her. He took the day off and will be taking her to the doctor. My brother took Draven and Jasper to school already. Luckily Jasper is all better now and so are Anton and Wes. Draven never got anything from anybody, so he's still fine. So in about 10 minutes I'll head over there to watch the 2 littles.
After I got dressed, I grabbed my laptop and a few things so I can work (if the boys aren't too needy).
We are in for another HOT day today. Yesterday, we broke a 76-yr old record and reached 102. Our heat index of 118. Luckily, our humidity was only 40% instead of the usual 70% to 95%, so it really didn't feel all that bad. It was windy too. It was a hot wind...but still....not too bad.
Anyways, I'm off to rinse out my coffee cup and head out the door. Hope everyone has a great day.

STILL catching up around here lol! I'm off today with JUST a therapy appointment this afternoon. (Minimal adulting lol! Gave me a bad headache yesterday!
)
It's cooled off quite a bit for now, and I plan on getting crafty today!
I'd like to get AT LEAST one more layout done! The month is moving by kind of fast!
We've got usually cool weather yesterday and for the next few days lol I put on leggings and a cardigan! AND fuzzy socks lol I'm SUPER comfy right now!

Ugh. Been up since 7. Not my time of the day but worrying about my silly cat so got up before roofers got here to get her to come inside and eat. They showed up at 7:30 and poof no cat! Hopefully they will finish today and we can get back to our usual routine.
Doing laundry and cleaning the kitchen. Sweeping the floors 2-3 times a day with all the dust flying around from the roofing. Nothing much else going on. Weather taking an abrupt downhill temp rest of the week. Actually only supposed to b 76 Friday but not lasting. 100 again next Tuesday. lol. Probably spend afternoon doing Christmas cards or maybe taking a nap.
