Hey Cherries. Extremely lazy today. Woke up earlier to a thunderstorm. Was going to finish my planting today but it is really wet out from all the rain. Going back to working on getting my graphic design challenge up.

Have a great day Cherries.

We had rain for the past 3 days, on and off, but it is great for my flowers. :)  I should be out weeding, while it is sort of cool and the ground is wet, so they are easier to pull. ;)  But, I'm scrapping, instead.  LOL

Here is my first layout today (I started it yesterday evening).  Maybe someday I will get faster at these in PSE.  lol  Was super stoked to find these little photos of my DH as a toddler!

I was up early and gotten a lot done already but hit a lazy patch and haven’t made to my scrappy space yet. Enjoying the morning though! And having all my work done !

Hey Barb! 😁 Sorry all the rain has prevented you from working in your garden today! Hopefully next week is better! 😉
Can't wait to see your new challenge! ☺️

3-H here today...hazy, hot and humid.  We have a heat advisory for the day and don't plan to venture outside.   It's already 88 with a real feel of 98.  Ugh!  Not my kind of weather.  I am in my scrap space for the entire day!

Hey Cherries 😊
I'm having coffee and trying to wake up. Lol I swear I was wide awake for a few minutes! 😂
I'm resting my foot by staying off of it, but I'm annoyed to do that! 😂 It is what it is. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I'm having a great time with the challenges! Of course, I always do! ☺️ Not much else going on today.
Stay blessed, Cherries! ☺️

Same here, I walked to a store very early and it really felt like humid, humid, and humid.

Awww Vicki, I'm sorry! I hate heat advisory days! I haven't even checked the weather for here today, but it wouldn't surprise me to get a heat advisory, here, too! I hope you get to play all day in your scrappy space! ☺️

Very humid and heat advisory today. I’m home alone, Zach went off on another adventure which is good, and my husband went off to a business meeting at ohare airport for the weekend. I’m not sure what sort of person schedules a weekend meeting on a holiday weekend but we were way most weekends in June so I’m happy to be home. I feel bad for other people at the meeting whose families have plans. Anyway, in honor of my being home alone im having a bunch of female friends over tonight for wine and snacks, so my day will be spent cleaning and organizing. And figuring out what Im going to serve, other than wine which I’ve already figured out.

I’ll probably work out in my basement and only brave the outdoors if I have to get more food, which I probably do.

have a great day everyone!

Yuck!  We have cooled a little after 3 days of rain storms, but it is headed that way for us all next week.  I just wish it could be hot without all the humidity. LOL  Staying inside is a great idea!

You rest!  My Mom didn't rest long enough...she was out and about all day on Thursday and her foot is still bothering her. I need to get her to buy some decent, supportive shoes/sandals.  She just doesn't want to spend the money and I say it's a necessity if your feet hurt!

Your poor DH!  I agree...meetings on a weekend, especially a holiday one are unnecessary!  Enjoy your girls' night!

It’s very hot and humid here as well. We had Stanley Steamer here earlier to clean our sofa. Heading into my scrap room soon to work on some challenges. I’ll be making pork tenderloin and smashed potatoes in the air fryer because I don’t want to turn on the oven.

We had some much needed rain yesterday for a few hours but could use a couple of days with rain.  This coming week is in the mid 90's with hopefully a mini cool on Friday with some rain again.  This has been a hot July for us.
