Scrap a Day, July 9th
Hey Cherries. DH and I are having a very lazy morning. We had soaking rain from TS Elsa all night and some wind, but it all seems to be over now. We have no plans and no appointments today. We are going to continue on with building. We made a lot of progress yesterday. That’s the plan for today

Hope you all have a great day.

Re: Scrap a Day, July 9th
Hola cherries! Just realized I never made it on here yesterday. Extremely busy on top with getting almost 8 inches rain dumped on us. That comes out to be 10 inches for the week as we had one inch Wed and one inch on Tuesday. They "say" we're expected to get more rain tonight into tomorrow but that's what they said last night and we were spared. I just want to dry out already! Road closures left and right yesterday and all of our rivers, creeks, etc are past flood stage. Feel bad for Rockport, a little beach town 45 miles north of me, that has received 15 + inches in 48 hours. Ugh....

Anyways, continued spending the day yesterday crunching number for my client, and again today, along with fixing some payroll issues that only occur for 3 kiddos (out of over a 100). Cleaned bathrooms, swept/mopped my floors and got the groceries. Been so busy I eat lunch at my desk and gulp it down in 10 mins or less. Hoping to make headway on the crunching numbers part. If not, will have to spend a few hours this weekend doing that. Yay.

Gotta run. Have a great weekend y'all!

Can't wait to see your box Barb.  Happy birthday to your daughter Carrie. Brandy, hope things ease up for you soon.

It is so hot here but its sunny today so I'll take it. Not sure if I'll be scrapping today, I have one to upload but from last night.  Still on my grout project...each grout line in the house scrubbed one by one with toilet bowl cleaner, works awesome.  Amazed that my 55 year old self can still do this. Not my favorite task but love it when it is done.

Have a great day Cherries  😊

I may have to remember that tile cleaning tip. I am 54 and it is amazing what we can do! LOL!

Have a great weekend everyone! :)

That is a job. I need to do that in my bathrooms. I usually take a Q-Tip with a little bleach on it and go through all the lines of grout one by one. So tedious and I admit I do not do it very often, but the results are amazing. You Go Girl!

Re: Scrap a Day, July 9th
It was another 3-H (Hazy, hot and humid) day here in SE PA until about 20 minutes ago when a thunderstorm blew in.  We are getting some much needed rain.  I finished a card for Traveler's challenge and started a LO for one of the MMC challenges, but not sure I will get it done on time.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Re: Scrap a Day, July 9th
It’s my grandson’s 13th birthday tomorrow.  But we are celebrating this evening while my other DD from Seattle is still here. She heads home in the morning.  It’s been a nice visit.  The grandson wants steak and corn for dinner.  And his mum got him an ice cream cake.
So that meant a trip to the grocery store this morning.  And also a visit to tge farm and ranch store.  DD wanted canning jars.  I actually got a couple of Christmas gifts to put away.
