Scrap-A-Day, May 23rd

Good morning cherries! For once I'm able to post this thread early enough. Just sipping on my coffee before I tackle work today. I'm hoping it is better today compared to yesterday.

Anybody scrapping today? Awaiting happy scrappy mail? I have pictures ready to scrap for the May Sketch Challenge for the past two days. So I'm hoping to be able to sit down and at least pick out the color scheme. I also need to call the vet today to make an appt - Jeffrey is coming due for his shots and wellness exam. They just opened, but they are taking in drop-off's right now (for surgeries), so I'll wait until after 9am to give them a holler.

I unzipped a few new kits yesterday and also picked up my order at ACOT this morning. I didn't sleep well last night though so I think a nap is in order first! Lol

Quite frankly, Brandy, I don't think today could be worse. We had a family crisis yesterday, and while I had plans to scrap - I couldn't. I was crying and went to bed at 9PM and had all my furbabies around me, including my sister's. And this morning I woke with a bad headache and if someone said "boo" to me, I'd burst into tears. So I may not be here all day - Just playing it by ear.

I know scrapping would make me feel better if I could concentrate and do it, but right now, I'm just too washed out to think about it. Hopefully all will be ok by tonight.

I think it's just being stuck in the night shift mode. I had gone to sleep around midnight, but woke up a little past 1:30 am and couldn't get back to sleep! Didn't go back to sleep until 5:30am, and had to be up at 6:30am to get Ali and Keegan to school. That's understandable. My dad works for DOW Chemical Plant and he works the night shift too (5:30PM to 5:30AM), and on his day's off, he can't sleep and when he gets stuck working the day shift, he drags his feet.

I really, really want to scrap tonight, its been several days since I did a LO - I cleaned my ribbon drawer a few nights back and I haven't gotten to prosper from that organization yet! Hopefully tonight I will not be too tired. However, I am supposed to be taking my SIL to see the new star trek movie tonight as a belated bday gift.

No time for scrapping today, but I will be taking pictures. As you know today is Tawney's 2st birthday. So as soon as 3pm comes I am heading home to pick everyone up and then out for dinner, drinks and whatever else comes up. I took tomorrow off too and we will be going to see Fast and the Furious 6 and then when Amber gets home out to the casino for the evening

The girls are doing a butterfly release at school so I am going up to have lunch with them. Then back home to scrap.
