Scrap-A-Day, May 22nd

Post by blbabe1234 »

Good morning cherries! I've had a busy morning so far - dogs are hyper because it rained last night (that equals to them playing in the MUD!) and getting emails out to my client. THe program had a hiccup this morning but I think I got it back on track.

Anyways, anybody scrapping today? I hope I can get started on the sketch challenge. I got the photos that I want to use. I just need to get paper/embllies.

And you?

Finished the 2 page sketch challenge last night and LOVE how it turned out! Lots of great memories in those pages.

I'm at work, already got 1 cancellation for today and another for tomorrow. I have the graphic design challenge floating around in my head now, I've already got the title typed in Word, just got to find the CS I want to use to print it out and decide what papers I'm going to use. Will try to work on that one tonight if I can. and then there'll be a new Becky Fleck challenge maybe? My inlaws are coming in town Sunday and will be here for the week, so all my extra time will be spent with them at the campground in their RV, so not much time for challenges and layouts after that point. so I'm trying to get all them done that I can now.
Carolyn, mommy to Olivia (precocious preschooler) and Owen (rambunctious toddler).

Year: 125, 1 card, 2 projects, 2 tags
2014 Page Totals: Jan - 15, 2 cards. Feb - 9, 1 project. Mar - 21 (I was busy!) (45 this year already)

I DID MY CHALLENGE LAST NIGHT!!! WOO HOO!!!
So tonight I'm going to attack another one!!! I was so pleased, because at first I thought "I don't want to scrap". Then I thought "I'll start a page, it's better than not doing it at all." Then I decided "I want to start a new one tomorrow, not finish this one." SO YAY!!! And I had promised Kim I'd do a page of the bunny we had for a REALLY long time - he was hysterical - for her 4x4 challenge!! So I did it!!!

So tonight I want to do another one. And I will. I feel like I'm finally on a roll. . . Mojo is back!

I was not planning on scrapping tonight, but just found out one of my niece's has prom tomorrow evening so I may be taking pics there... SOOOO, if I don't scrap a bit tonight, I won't get back at it till Saturday, and this month is almost over already! I have quite a bit of challenges I want to accomplish yet and not a whole lot of time! I just need to decide which one I can pull tother fastest and easiest :winkb:

congrats to everyone to got a chance to play today and everyone who will, and everyone have a great day!!!

I just finished my first one so far! I did the Take 2 challenge. It took me most of the morning cause I got distracted with some of the new product posted on here. lol. I am hoping to get 1 more done before getting the girls from school in an hour. I have to clean out the PTA room and closet this afternoon. Hopefully the rain will hold off so we don't have to do it during the summer. Only 2 days left of school!!!!!

No scrapping. Should take the photos off the camera though...there aren't many. Added more stuff to my wishlist since ACOT got so much more fun stuff in! I need to connect with family to see what photos they have of the trip. And I think we can access the photographers pics too but that may be awhile. So I'm doing scrappy related things today

Well, if all goes the way I have it planned right now in my head, I will be able to scrap for a few hours tonight. That normally changes as soon as I step foot in the door. I have been in a slump this month and have only done 4 LOs all month and only one of them was from the list of Challenges. So I better get busy tonight. The next 2 nights I won't be able to scrap as my baby will be 21 tomorrow. So we will be celebrating. So hopefully when I get home I can go straight to my scrappy room like I want to right now.

LOL. Reminds me of my husband's bachelor days when he and his roommate would have cereal and ice cream for dinner. I would make fun of him but I was secretly jealous.

I hope to scrap tonight but I'm waiting to find out if I have dinner plans. I have plans tomorrow night and then the weekend is shot because we'll have company. Which means no scrapping over the long weekend! I have three layouts started but who knows when I'll be able to finish them...

No promises but I have stuff on the table that I really should get going on! Fell back to sleep this morning for several hours...What the heck? Now my day is half gone! Still in pj's, ate lunch for breakfast...maybe a shower will perk me up. I have some pretty pp just right for my dgd...just need to see if it will work in a challenge this month or to save it for another. Still have most challenges to choose from...no excuse!

We had thunderstorms early this morning which woke the pups up. Had to take little Twinkie out to potty in the pouring rain. Lots of fun lol. I am so tired right now I need a nap. Wish I could get the energy to clean up this desk and do some scrapping. Yawn. Maybe later.

I've been scrapping a little! I made a card for a friend. It's of a hula bear, and I put the bear on an action wobble--I'll try to post a pic later of it. Then I finished a title for a layout I made about 2 months ago! I've just learned how to weld letters together with my Gypsy--I hate having titles with lots of letters to glue down, but it worked out with the welding! Then I got two layouts done for challenges here. Thought I'd get another done, then take pictures of all of them and post!

I have a roast in the crock pot, and I just plan on opening a can of carrots and making instant mashed potatoes (hey, I crave them sometimes, lol, maybe that comes from all the years of eating in the school cafeteria, lol!). So I can scrap up until DH shows up from work!

I have a gypsy and didn't know you could weld letters together! Did you do an update on it or something? Very cool!
