So I've been waiting for the irock to be in stock and it seems like it never is when I'm ready to buy. So I was at Michael's yesterday and noticed they are carrying it now and took a look and realized it is almost identical to the "glam-it-up" tool by Tulip which I had bought to add crystals to my sister's wedding veil last year.
So I didn't need to buy the irock and spent more money on the crystals! My first irock page...
I'm going to be having fun with this thing!
now I have to go to Michael's. That is an awesome page.
Here I come to save the day! Chas

I saw that last weekend and wondered if it would be the same. Thank you so much for sharing because now I know!
Now I have to decide if I trust my accident prone self with a tool and a hot crystal!

It's a heat setting tool so the tip gets hot and then there are gems and studs that have an adhesive on the back that is heat activated. They've been around for a few years in crafting for embellishing things like tee shirts and bags but now they've been adapted for scrapbooking with cool colors and templates. If you like bling, this is your thing!Grandma Flowers wrote:What does it do?
I know! In the instructions it clearly states to place a distance away from yourself to prevent burns. Far, far away for me.SWAY2865 wrote:I saw that last weekend and wondered if it would be the same. Thank you so much for sharing because now I know!

It's basically a heat setter and if you like bling like I do, it's so fun!

Yeahh... my luck, I'd end up blinging myself. It'd probably be less painful than some of those crazy piercings though.

ok now I really feel stupid, but I went to the shop and there is no mention of how much this irock costs. What does it cost?

How is it different from a gem and a glue dot? Is it easier to handle, especially with the little gems? I'm getting interested!

it's funny I can't find it if I search directly on acot but I can find it if I google it.

I believe if you copy and paste that in your browser it will take you to it, but it's not in stock yet. $12.99

The adhesive is already on the back but it's hard and melts when heat is applied. That means you can get really tiny ones on your page and way easier. I've always used glue dots but I am sold on this. You can lay out your design before setting them, it's awesome!Grandma Flowers wrote:How is it different from a gem and a glue dot?
