Are there different qualities ?
The ink I am using just never dries. Only paid $1.25 USD
Maybe I need to upgrade to a better brand ?
What brands do you use ?

I use StampinUp and Stazon - they work great and last a long time
I don't think it matters what brand....it is the type that affects the drying. Pigment inks are meant to stay wet longer and often need help with drying (heat embossing gun). Dye inks dry faster. Pigment inks are what you use when heat embossing, but they can be used and dried without embossing powders. I use some very inexpensive ones that I buy at my crafts discount store and also the Colorbox inks.

I use the above and Dew Drop Brilliance Ink.
Does any of the Creative Team know of a article in the Resources Section that explains the type of inks? I'd be interested in this too, as I need to find a ink that will not run when I use Mod Podge on my Altered Projects.
i use stampin up classic inks. i do have a few craft inks, but the classic is the best ink that's i've found ever!

Thanks ALL ... I wish I knew half as much about stamping/scrapbooking as I know about scuba diving. LOL

somewhere there is a stampin up lady screaming - "What does she mean, are they all the same!?!"
I don't find much difference between brands - but more the types. Pigment takes forever to dry...some of the dye inks do too.
I find the cheaper brands tend to dry out faster. The cat's eye inks are great to allow you have lots of colors and not much cost - but the more you use them, the more they seem likely to fall off the base.
Good luck!!

I have to say that I like Stampin Up stamp pads the best but they are way to big most of the time. I do use lots of cat's Eyes for edges and things like that.
Yah, it's more the type then the brand.
Classic/Dye inks soak into the paper and color can changed based off what color your stamping on (and color used).
Pigment ink/Craft doesn't dry very fast, great for embossing. It also usually sits more on top of the paper vs soaking in thus the color is more true. You can use a heat gun (or even other heat, such as holding it over an iron).
I love craft inks!
