Hey Cherries 😊
I woke up mega early, coughing, and had a cough drop and went back to sleep eventually. I slept WAY late today but don't work until 5 so it's okay! 😉
Courtney brought some more things in from the shed last night and MAN lol we just keep throwing out junk and bringing more inside! 😂 😂 I DEFINITELY feel like we have SO MUCH to do around here, but it will get done eventually!
In the living room, I'm gonna clear off a few shelves for miscellaneous and tools and things that are currently stored in the middle room but need to come out. DEFINITELY slow moving on this project, but I ALSO still have a few things that need to go into my bedroom. (LOL extra art stuff and  what have you.)
Besides all the other stuff I plan on decluttering,  there will MAYBE have to be a slight purging of items at some point. IDK!
So many things are in boxes and more are going in boxes for a little while. (Though, I STILL want to find time to finish at LEAST one challenge this month! The month is flying by!)
I do KNOW that I'm feeling better in general. Besides this pesky cold! 😉
Stay blessed Cherries! I've talked enough today! 😂

HUGS Holly. Purging is difficult under the best of circumstances so take it easy on yourself.
It is gonna be a challenge, for sure, Chris! I have some things in boxing up, as I'm also re arranging other things and it's silly how much junk STILL has to go out!
You're right about me needing to go easy on myself! I get so frustrated when I don't feel the best and have the extra time to get something done around here! I WISH we had stunt doubles! 😂

Good luck!  I know that problem all too well.  lol

I found the power strip!  DH had snagged it and was using it outside to build the greenhouse.  I've got it now so I'm back to cleaning the scrapbook space up!
Omg! Looking for something that wasn't even there! So frustrating to begin with in a scrappy mess, and then to find it was confiscated! Lol! Glad you got it back!

Lol I was gonna say the same thing! 😂

Overcast , cold, and noisy. The air show is today and tomorrow. The military flying team is here with their jets and they are so loud.  They fly so low it seems you could wave and one of the pilots would wave back.

nothing going on all weekend. Got one of the bday cards done that I need so doing the other today.  No cooking either. lol. Leftovers from last night and bought small Panera broccoli cheddar soup at market yesterday which is perfect for this cold grey day.

have a pleasant Saturday.

Hey Cherries. Chilly Saturday morning here today. Makes me not want to come out from under my cozy comforter. When I do I’ll be getting in my scrap room. After the busy week I had I  plan to have a scrappy weekend. I have a lot of challenges that I want to do.

Have a great day Cherries.
Barb, I hope you either stayed under your "cozy comforter" or "getting in" your scrap room!  :) Stay warm!!!

Another boring day here but lately I've LOVED having boring days. I don't have the energy or motivation to do anything, so I sit in my scrap room and try to do at least one layout per day.  I did this one today for the Taylor Swift challenge. I don't often scrap lavender or purple so it was really a challenge for me.

What a PRETTY layout Chris!!!   :)  I wish I had more boring days!  :)  Seems like there's always something happening here.  :)

Re: Scrap a Day, March 22nd
We've had a very sad day here.  Another predator attack.  We are pretty sure its a weasel called a Fisher because they're so much bigger than mink and ermine and capable of carrying a fully grown chicken or duck away.  Our lone surviving duck Shirley was the victim.  Steve came in to tell me and get the fire going in the house and when he went back out she was gone.  So that thing came back in BROAD DAYLIGHT and took her away just like last year around this time that it took the other two ducks and our chicken that was hatched by Mama Goose.named Gosling.  We also have an injured goose.  She's got a gash on her leg so she's limping but not badly enough for us to be able to catch her.  We had a net on a long pole for this but it's all broken and the net is torn so we don't really have anything to catch any of the birds with.  Steve is working on fixing the bigger coop at the top of our driveway so we can hopefully get the geese in there tonight and maybe even the chickens...  He wants to keep all of them in there together because it's so much more sturdy.  But it wasn't built by us and it never had a door where he could actually get into it.  And it never had any nesting boxes or poles for roosting.  So he's trying to do that now.  I'm just trying to deal with the whole thing mentally.

Shirley was the sweetest bird!  She was loved by all of our birds and by us too.  She and her 2 sisters were the very first birds we hatched.  The original geese were all teenagers when we got them.  And when the fisher came last year it badly injured her both the first and the second time a couple of days later.  That's why we named her Shirley - because she was surely a survivor!  So that makes this extra sad.  Steve would open  the coop to let Shirley and the geese out and she was always the first one out and would run around in circles because she was so happy every morning.  Even the chickens liked her.  But she was definitely a part of the goose crew.  We will really miss her.  I'm going to try to do a combined challenge about when they all hatched almost 3 years ago.  :)  We will see...

On a happier note we know that we have at least one female in our 4 geese that hatched last spring!  She's also the one who is injured and limping.  But they are hardy birds and we will keep an eye on her.  Two of the other 3 geese look like they're losing feathers off their backs so we will keep an eye on them too.  But they both seem to be fine.  I'm thinking that one of the other geese might be a female too but time will tell.  It's kind of late for them to be laying eggs but our hatching three years ago came on May 4th (Star Wars Day) so we gave them Star Wars character names.  :)

Anyway, I hope you're all having a wonderful day.  It rained a bit this morning so at least it's not wet.  But it's grey and cloudy.  Seems like next week might warm up a bit so keeping our fingers and toes crossed!!!  Since Wednesday night we've had about 5 inches of rain!!!  Needs to go away for awhile so my spring flowers can come up and bloom!  :)

Oh my word, Cherries.  I started cleaning my  scrappy room this morning around 8am.... I am still cleaning BUT I have made so much progress.  I am making a list of things that I need/want to get for storage and organization.  I'm putting things aside for the next round of the box swap!

I wanted to get this done before NSD and I'm glad I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.  I'm down to just needing to put away things that have came in the mail that I haven't even opened....  :greensad: :surprised:  and sorting through paper scraps that were piled up on my desk.  I've even cleaned my comfy recliner off so if dh or Grayson wants to come in here, they have somewhere to sit!
