I got distracted and had to do a little scrapping. ;)  Paper grading still needs to be done, but here is my layout for the Hanukkah Day 7 challenge:

This is beautiful !  Sometimes a little distraction and then we get more done!

Sunny with a few puffy white clouds here and highs in upper 50’s for the weekend.  I have lots needing doing but got up with a stinking headache.  Left side of face numb from cheekbone to jawbone and forehead pounding like a jackhammer.  Took aspirin and drank 16 oz Dr. Pepper for the caffeine but usually when this happens, I’m useless for the day.  Ugh

have a productive Saturday.

Ugh. I’m so sorry- I get migraines too. Hope it goes away soon!

Very lazy day and it's too cold to do much of anything. So I'm sitting in my toasty scrap room thanks to my little portable heater which is perfect for my little room.

I just posted this layout for this week's sketch which I completed yesterday. Getting ready to start another challenge.

That’s beautiful! I’m glad you are scrapping!

DH is determined to put Christmas away today. DD has gone out to a friend's bday party and will be gone all day. I'm trying to copy edit (because all those "future me problems" are coming home to roost now LOL!) while also putting Christmas away because nobody knows how it all fits in the boxes / space we have for Christmas except me. That's the thing about living in an NYC apartment. All of Christmas has to fit in the hall closet, except the tree. Also, I'm a little neurotic about HOW it all gets put away.  Anyway....that's what's going on here. And I'm also putting together supplies pics for my next few layouts. I can't think creatively right now with everything everywhere all at once LOL but can at least get stuff together. I'm also putting out supplies from the team stash list so I have them handy and maybe they will inspire some ideas.

Ann Marie I’m the SAME WAY about putting Christmas things away!!!! I hope you get lots of time to play with the team list! I think it’s a fun one!

It's done. It about killed me but it's done lol. DH is very "chop chop" and I'm very "15 minutes here and there" so....I'm exhausted now but it's all away. Just need to put the linens away after laundry day next Friday.  I also am probably not going to reach my daily quota of pages today but at least Christmas is done LOL! Oh and DH wants me to make "winter decorations" to put up so I will have to see what I can come up with. What a hardship, hahahaha!!

Hi Cherries!!!
christmas is packed away! I put up my blue twinkle lights for winter and just in time for the ice storm ! Ugh I wish they were wrong and we would get snow!! We are on the border between the storm so really we don’t know for sure. Ice storms are NEVER good !!! We are under an Ice Storm Warning .
for those cherries impacted by the storms stay safe and in touch if you can!
today I’m going the normal weekly Saturday stuff  ! I am hoping to get in my scrappy space !!! If not today then tomorrow!!

We left the white lights on the living room window after taking the tree down. This is the first time we are leaving up "winter lights." I want to get another string of white lights for my office window too. It's kind of cozy and hygge :)

Be careful with the ice storms! And I hope you got some scrappy time today!
Happy Scrapping!

We are in the deep freeze in Montana too! Says it’s a whole 10F out. We had 6 inches of new snow yesterday afternoon and evening. The grandsons are supposed to be coming over to shovel! More expected today! Winter has certainly arrived. Glad we have nowhere to go and can just hibernate.

Working on my last cruise I took to Bermuda and hope to finish it before the next one in a few weeks.

Hoping everyone has a terrific Saturday!
Stay safe, have been watching Yellowstone and holy cow, if that is what Montana looks like, what a gift it is to see that each day.

Parts of Montana are like that. We are about an hour from the Rocky Mountain front!  Yellowstone and Glacier are truly national gems and if you ever get the chance to visit I highly recommend a trip! You would not be disappointed. Why we like to go camping in our big backyard of a state!

I’m glad that you got Christmas put up! I love having twinkle lights - it makes me happy. And it helps Murphy ( she was attacked before we found her as a baby (less than 8 weeks) , we saved her eye but she can’t see out of it- just some light so her depth perception is not very good in the dark. So years ago- she is now 11 I have always had twinkle lights throughout the house at night for her. I love them though.  In the fall I do orange ( Halloween I sometimes add purple and green too) then at Christmas it depends- this year I put up green. Winter I have blue. Sometimes I put up red ? I haven’t broke down and purchased pink. But I WANT to!) and the rest of the year just the white .
I can’t wait to see your winter decorations!  I hope I am just staying in - although with the arctic blast the ice could stay around for a bit! Ugh! Give me a good snow any day ! But ice boo!

I had to go search and see when you went. We were there May '23, too!! 5 - 12th out of Boston on the NCL Pearl.
Almost the same dates-may 6-15th. We cruised from New Jersey- stops in Newport Beach, Martha’s Vineyard, Charleston and Bermuda. On Celebrity Summit.

Headed out on Feb 3 to the Panama Canal with Vicki Boutin.

Hey Cherries! It’s only 34 here… And it’s grey and cloudy. The snow is ice now too. I really need to get stuff done today but I’m not feeling like being busy. Lol! Might have to take a nap and see if I feel more motivated when I get up. Lolol!

An update on our silly cat. He’s finally starting to come in the evenings after dark. He usually comes in for a little bit to eat and stays for a bit then goes back out. Almost every night he’s starting to come back around 9 or 10 and he curls up with us in the bed. The last 2 nights he stayed with us on the bed all night! :) He’s also finding places to hide! A few days ago he went up under the kitchen cabinets! He thought that was great! We’re thinking of putting those low rolling totes under the cabinets for more storage but haven’t decided yet… Until then he can hide there. :)

Hope you’re all doing well and staying safe and warm!!!
Silly cat! He's finally learning what's more cozy for him LOL!

I am the same way about packing it all up Anne-Marie! I know where everything came from and what goes where. I can get it all into the bins to fit just right and how I want it. Lol. And I can't think creatively in a mess either. I need to have everything put away and organized before I can get crafty. Hence today's Operation Scrap Room Cleanup. LOL.

He was looking at everything on the table and asking me in disbelief..."That all fits in that 1 box?!" Yes, if it's put away correctly! Like, dude, we've been together for 30 years. Why is this a surprise to you ROFL!? I also can't think creatively if I know he's got some project that he is involving me in..........

DD has various twinkle lights in her room, year-round. We usually put up purple and orange lights at Halloween and then the Christmas lights. But this is the first time leaving them up. I think we will start getting other colors too. It does make it cozy. And give Murphy some squishes from me!

PS: I can't wait to see what I come up with for winter decorations too LOL!

Men and their bright ideas right?! Haha! Mine decided to cook the ducks he got the other day and has been brining. He put them in the air fryer and when I pulled the second one out so I could cook some potatoes there was grease everywhere. It took me half an hour to clean it up!

I plan to go to Yellowstone at least once, that is hubby's dream. My ODS did a work program at the park several years ago and had such a great time.
