Just stopping by on lunch break. Things in kindergarten are crazy this week and next. Taking the kiddos in a bus for swimming lessons everyday for 45 minutes. This teacher is tired. Anything out of routine makes the little people a little crazy.
Hoping to scrap today but not sure it's going to happen.. So many great challenges this month. Wishing everyone a fantastic day.

Yes, it is a good idea especially here in Miami where we are surrounded by water but wish it was something that was offered to the kids in the summer!!JollyHollyScraps wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 10:54 amaheatfan wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 10:26 amGood morning Cherries. Work was another busy busy day yesterday and I hit the ground running this morning to take care of things I didn't do yesterday. And lo and behold, more emails and stuffs. Oh well..stayin' busy.
Still feeling pretty good, despite being a little sore now that I'm moving around more and doing core exercises. As long as I'm sitting, it's not sooooo bad.
Anywho...back to work for me. Lookin' forward to the weekend!
Hope everyone has a great day.
Glad you are feeling better

VickiR wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 2:35 pmCrazy weather yet again....I was up and out at 8 to pick up something I regret not getting yesterday. Thankful I went because I got the last one. Also placed an online order for pickup at Target that I did on the way home. It was so foggy when I left that I could only see one car length ahead of me. Torrential rain when I got to my destination and sunshine and dry roads when I got home. Gheez... the temp at 8 am was 40 degrees it's now 72 and heating up to 80 today. Thunderstorms tonight. My daffodils and tulips are loving the warm up. The peony pushes have pushed up to about 8 inches and the Lily of the Valley are about the same. I love the spring when everything is new again!
Your flower beds must be beautiful. I can barely grow weeds, lol.

Sounds like Florida weather Vicki! Your flowers sound so pretty! I need to go look at mine. We didn’t plant them in a good spot for sunshine so they’re usually late coming up. We’re getting ready to plant some seeds and get some starts going for our summer garden. Got some marigolds and nasturtiums to plant in with them.

OMG Kristin!!! I hope you’ve got some parents or aides to help you!!!! {{{HUGS}}} and prayers!!!aheatfan wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 2:36 pmFor two weeks and no I don't ... counting the days!!GinniG wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 2:34 pmaheatfan wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 10:26 amGood morning Cherries. Oh my! A field trip to the pool every day for a week?! God help you Kristin!!! Hope you have energy to relax and scrap tonight.

Mine are all on the east side of the house and get the morning sun. That's great for the ones that don't like direct sunlight but they come up later than the neighbors that have flower beds facing west and get more sun during the day.GinniG wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 2:48 pmVickiR wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 2:35 pmCrazy weather yet again....I was up and out at 8 to pick up something I regret not getting yesterday. Hi Cherries! It’s a bit cloudy today but supposed to get up to 51 today!!! We could still get snow sometime this month but it doesn’t usually stay long. Woke up to some serious fog. We couldn’t see the water because it was so thick! And the ferry had to blow its horn because of it. I love that sound but always pray for their safety too.
Just sent Steve to town by himself.
I overdid things somehow yesterday doing almost nothing and was in pain again. So figured I’d better take it easy today. Hopefully he can get the cram that actually works too. The company made it non prescription and you can get it over the counter but it’s $20 per tube and we both use it. Just isn’t right that they’d rather make more money than continue to keep it as a prescription. Grrr!
Anyway I’m going to carefully do a couple of chores today and hoping I can start on the challenges.
Have an awesome day everyone!!!

I love flowers and have way less than I use to have. Everything is perennial now because my knees just don't like kneeling to plant any more. I have Yellow and Red Peonies, Azalea, Iris in 3 different colors, Daffodils in 3 different colors, Coral Day Lillies, Coral Tulips, Lilly of the Valley and Mums. They bloom at different times so I have flowers all summer into November.

Good afternoon! We ran a bunch of errands and now we're finally home. DH is taking a nap and I'm just chilling. Our cleaning crew is coming tomorrow so trying to straighten up, too.

pawprints wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 9:51 amHey Cherries. Not much going on here today. I am getting my roots colored later this afternoon and am going to work on getting my challenge up. Rainy and gloomy out right now but the sun is supposed to come out later. High of 63 so hoping it will be a lot nicer out later today.
Hope you all have a great day.
I've given up coloring my roots and found that I don't have that many grey hairs. I have my mom's hair and even though she lived to 99, she had very few, too.

Foggy here this morning. Only 29 degrees and more snow expected. We did get snow yesterday, but thankfully didn’t stick. The moisture is good, though.
Will be cleaning house. More energy today. Yesterday afternoon I got into my craft space and organized my baskets of scraps. Threw out too small pieces and ones I knew I wouldn’t use again. Still have tons left over for die cutting. On other topics, grandson #2 has a birthday coming up as does DH and need to figure what to get them..
Will see what else I get up to today! Hoping your Thursday is the best.
Can I hop on your bus for swimming lessons! At my old age, I still don't know how to swim.aheatfan wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 10:26 amGood morning Cherries. Just stopping by on lunch break.
