Hey Cherries 😊
I just rested yesterday and didn't do too much. I DID get someone to ask me to work for them today, so that's what I'm doing! (Definitely an answer to a prayer am I right?!)

I've been checking out some of the March challenges and they look fun for sure! Even without having everything organized, I have so much available in my living room to work with! (Even as I have started moving things to the middle room!)
So, definitely looking forward to some crafty time this month!
(I gotta do some art journaling and I make some thank you cards, too!)
(It's still bittersweet because I've been so used to having Omer around while I'm creating! Often we watched movies or tv shows and he would sometimes work on his own projects, too!)
I'm slowly adjusting, though

Stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️☺️🙏🏻

Holly, YAYAYAY for the extra shift answer to prayer!!!! I can’t even imagine what you’re going through. I think you’re doing extremely well! These things take time to adjust I’m sure. {{{HUGS}}} and prayers!

We have one more day of spring like weather before we plunge back to colder temps. Yesterday, it was 66F out. It really felt like spring. Not a cloud in the sky and that sunshine felt so good. My soul really appreciated the day.

And yesterday, I hit the road with DD and most of her crew. We headed south for a Costco/ Winco run in Helena. The kids were very well behaved. And the drive was beautiful hugging the canyons along the Missouri River. Saw a huge herd of antelope and one bald eagle. Oldest 2 stayed at home and Nic hung out with grandpa.

Today, not much planned for today. Hope to find some scrapping time and maybe bake something to take out to Seattle with us.

Hope you all have a Blessed Sunday.

Leslee, I know exactly how it feels when the sun comes out and stays all day. It’s so nice even when it’s bitter cold. I hope spring finds its way to you soon!!!

Happy Sunday Cherries.  Out early for the usual car wash then drove the 35 minutes to a big Joann's in the next county. Much nicer store than the one closer to me. No major sales yet. Just picked up a couple $1 jars of shaker bits. Stopped at Target to buy one of those over the door shoe hanger things to store some of my alphas in - they don't fit in my basket anymore. It's on the back of the door so I don't have to see it.  Took about 1.5 hours yesterday to file paper and paper scraps. My room was a mess!!  Waiting for DH and DS to go to the shooting range (NOT my cup of tea) so I can do the floors, then I will be scrapping. Have a great day everyone  😊

Yayayay for getting your room cleaned up Kristin! I hope you enjoy your free time while the guys are gone! And I hope you have an easy week at school too!!!

And poof spring is gone again.  Grey, cloudy, cold and damp. lol.    Nothing going on today yet again. Washed my hair and that’s about it .    I have a container of Panera broccoli cheddar soup in my fridge for supper later so not even any cooking today either.  I think I’ll sweep 🧹 the floors and peruse the March challenges.     I certainly live La vida loca!

have a pleasant Sunday and stay warm.

Definitely you’re living la vida loca Charlene!!! Hehehe!! There’s some REALLY great challenges this month! Lots of new things!

Good afternoon! I had every intention of scrapping all day but after leaving praise on all the entries on my Mfg. Challenge and picking a winner, it's now 3:45. I'll be watching the pre-Oscar shows and then the actual Academy Awards. Even though I haven't seen any of the movies, I have a few that I'm hoping win. My first is Demi Moore who I remember watching on General Hospital. And since I'm a Bob Dylan fan, I'll be cheering on "A Complete Unknown".

Will anyone else be watching?

Chris, have fun watching all the Academy Awards festivities! I’ve never really been into the awards shows. I don’t know who’s been nominated and I have no clue about the movies. But I know it’s a huge deal for the cast and crew of the profession so I wish them all good luck!

Re: Scrap a Day, March 2nd
We’re being lazy bums here today. Steve gets up around 7:30 or 8 and lets the birds out and feeds them. Then he gets the fire going in the wood stove. If I’m not up by then he gets back into bed and goes back to sleep. It’s 12:30 and he’s still sleeping! Lolol! I was up for a bit and was still tired so I laid back down and slept awhile longer. lol! It’s Sunday so it’s okay. :)

The sun WAS out and it felt good and was nice to see. Now there’s fog rolling in. I LOVE it here when it’s foggy!!!

Our chickens have been laying eggs again. Steve found 3 places that they’re laying them yesterday. Got about a dozen eggs!!! At $13 a dozen that’s a gold mine! They don’t taste any different than store bought but it’s nice to know they’re fresh!

I scrapped last night too. Did a major cleanup of one section in front of my scrappy space. I was tired of looking at the pile of stuff. So while Steve went to town for packages I cleaned it out and then swept all the dirt up. Looks so much better!!! And his tools and stuff are tucked away where they’re not an eyesore anymore but are still easily accessible.  Makes room for my paper rack and a set of shelves I want to bring over from the cabin. :)

Hope you’re all having a fabulous day!!! Stay safe and warm Cherries!!!

I hope you get to watch the awards and the pre-shows! ☺️
