Greetings from Seattle. Has been raining, but it seems to have stopped for now. Temps in the 40’s. Enjoying these couple of days with DD #2. Will have my flight to FL tomorrow. It’s a long one flying across the country- almost 6 hours. Have a book downloaded and some movies too on my Ipad. And my cross stitch to keep me occupied.

Hoping everyone enjoys their Friday.

Safe travels tomorrow

Hey Cherries 😊
Work was very tiresome yesterday - or, I guess I just feel extra tired. My sister came to pick me up from work and brought the boys and we got cheeseburgers for dinner. It was great to see them! 😊 They cheered me up a little!
I did my adulting already this morning - or at LEAST a big portion of it! Rent is paid up until April so I'm happy about that! Now just to make an electric payment. Oh pesky adulting! 😂
In the low 50s here with lots of rain! I may take a nap later; doing some laundry now. Definitely need to do some cleaning around here. DGD Courtney brought some boxes home from her job, and hopefully we'll be able to get some more clutter out. My living room is a wreck right now, bedroom needs works too! SMH I'm JUST hanging in there!
My mom said she's coming with my sister Moe tomorrow, then I work at 5 to close. I'm grateful for so much!
Stay blessed Cherries 🍒 ❤️ 😊

You've had to do way too much adulting lately Holly!  Glad you've got the rent paid for a couple of months.  And how fun to have your sister and nephews visit.  Glad they gave you some reasons to smile.  :)  Hope you can get the cleaning done without pushing yourself too hard.  Be good to yourself my friend!!! {{{HUGS}}}

Overcast and raining off and on here.  The temp is 44 and I can handle that until March.  I hope February is kind to us.  I'm tired of the bitter cold we had most of January.  Finishing up a challenge today and that's about it.

Hopefully you won't get any more bitter weather Vicki!  It's finally here.  Our low tomorrow will be a whopping 9F!!! We won't be getting above freezing for 10 more days.  YUCK!  LOL!  I'll be scrapping and hibernating.  :)

Enjoy your visit with your DD Leslee!  Temps in the 40s is okay.  Rain is always happening down there.  :)  Safe travels to Florida too.  Glad you have a book, movies and your cross stitch to keep you occupied!

Grey and rainy here.  And warmer due to the rain.  Was working on challenges yesterday but a friend called and derailed that.  She is very needy and I am a soft touch.  So we video chatted for over two hours.  Sigh. Hoping to get the challenge that was half done finished and at least one more. That’s about it for today.

stay safe and dry.

Charleneanne, hope you can get your challenge finished in time!  You're a good friend to spend that time with your needy friend.  :)

Re: Scrap a Day, January 31st
What a crazy day yesterday was!  I'll post pics in a separate post!  Started with a gorgeous sunrise and ended with a snowstorm!  We even lost power 3 times so far in 12 hours!  Crazy!

It's a beautiful winter wonderland out there!  The sun is shining and the snow is turning to icicles on one part of the roof and the rest is falling off in big chunks that sounds like a bomb going off in the distance.  Not quite as loud as it was in the cabin!  It always made me jump!  LOL!

I got a 2 page layout finished and got 3 Valentine's Day cards almost finished.  The fire in the woodstove was having trouble keeping p with the cold temps outside so my Nuvo Drops wouldn't come out because they were too thick.  One actually had the tip come off with half the bottle too!  Steve heard it on the other side of the house with the TV on!  LOL!  And I can't believe it didn't make a big mess!  I had a tissue that I was trying to get it going in because sometimes they send out a glop.  It missed my card, my table, my sweater and everything all around where I was sitting!  Talk about lucky!  LOL!

I want to finish the cards today and get the other 3-4 I need done (or at least started anyway) but we have to go to the local hoedown tonight.  My BFF's granddaughte Excie needs a ride to get there in time at 5 so we'll pick her up and take her.  It's always a lot of fun because the kids have been learning how to play instruments and dances.  Plus there's always good food!  :)  It's usually only a couple of hours so I should have time to play when we get home IF the house is warm enough...

Hope you're all having a great day Cherries!!!
