Hey Cherries! We slept in late this morning. Poor Steve is hurting from all the wood chopping. He’s going to hook up the propane heater so he doesn’t have to work so hard on the wood stove fire. Next year will be better. We will have drier wood then.

There’s so much happening today! There’s a zoom crop with one of my Facebook groups, an online crop with another one and 2 football championships today!!! I want to do both crops AND watch both games! But I can’t scrap and pay attention to the games. :( So I’ll probably go back and forth. I also need to get more of my paper over here and I’m trying to figure out the best way to do that… So I might just work on that instead.

I have one more Hanukkah challenge to do and I started it last night. First it was going to be a single page. Now it’s a 2 pager and I need to figure out how I want to do the embellies .

Our temps dropped down into the 30s and now we have some pretty thick fog. So interesting to watch it! So far no snow in the forecast but there’s been fresh snow on the mountain behind us. The one in front is much smaller than the other one so when it starts getting snow we will probably get some too. I think we’d both be happy if we didn’t get any more snow this winter! Not very likely though.

Stay safe and warm Dear Cherries!!!

We just watched KC Chiefs win.  That is our favorite for
Super Bowl.  I am loving Their quarterback, Patrick, M!
now we will watch the next one.  I have been doing a junk journal challenge this afternoon,  I still haven’t played with the new stuff.  I am just all over the place!
I hope you got your paper over, to play with, and got your Hanukkah challenge done.
i printed some photos off social media of our grandson that are so fun.  I want to do a zookeeper page about him.  He is 24 and working at an animal preserve. Sounds like a fun page to do.
Ginni, are you the one in Alaska?   I am trying to keep everyone straight as I get to know you all.
or are you the one that just moved to a new house from a cabin?  LOL. I think I am confused.
Sharon, yes the Chiefs are going to be hard to beat with their amazing coach and Patrick!  I grew up in a suburb of DC so Washington has been my team since the 70s.  LOL!  We're watching them now.  Not sure about their "new" name but my family and I always call them by their old name.  LOL!

I didn't get my paper moved BUT that's because we broke down and bought some dry wood for the wood stove and I had to be available to chat with the people selling it.  That's more important so Steve won't have to fight the wet wood anymore.  :)  I'll probably get it done tomorrow.

You aren't confused.  Well maybe you are...  I'm the one who lives in Alaska.  And I'm the one that just moved from a cabin into a house that's only half finished.  :)  My husband Steve and I have a 3 acre homestead in Southeast Alaska near Ketchikan.  We live on Prince of Wales Island .  Our property i located on a saltwater lagoon and we're 25 miles one way over a mountain pass from the nearest store.  We moved here in 2016 after retiring.  We have a cat named Jeff, 4 geese, a duck, 2 roosters and 8 hens.  One of the roosters and 3 hens are only about 3 months old.  The geese hatched in late spring.  Between us we have 3 sons, a daughter, a granddaughter and 4 grandsons.

Where are you located?  Is it cold there now?

Yes, it is cold here in Kansas!  18 degrees, feels like 1 degree!  Snow not all melted yet.
