Oh my gosh. Not sure I’m still in California. Almost 9 in the morning and still in the 30’s outside. lol. Busy day today. Company coming for lunch and playing at my craft table. Going to get some of the last of the. NEw Years ham from the freezer and fry it up in butter for good pan drippings to make country gravy and make a pan of biscuits for lunch.
I do wish the pellet stove was working though. Lol
have a safe day and stay warm.

Almost two! the main roads are clear, but getting out of our addition is a sheet of ice, very scary. And one lane into it has the track, but no one must go back out because it has no track. LOL. We even have a roundabout within , and it is death defying! I don’t know about me driving to PT tomorrow. Ugh!
I am excited as my ACOT order is on its way. Well, it is in Detroit, coming to Wichita. I even looked it up on map to see where all it might go before it gets here! LOL. Do you think I am excited?
I have a Zoom today with some crafty friends; hope I get some crafting done while we are on.
Have a wonderful day!
Ooo, ice is no fun. We had a lot here this week and there were so many accidents. You should be able to upload your badges onto your blog as a photo? If you would like all of your ACOT LOTW badges in a square I would be happy to do it for you. I can edit them and send them back in PM to you. Let me know.
That would be wonderful. Thank you! Then I have to try to put it on my sidebar. I think I remember how to do that! LOL You are so nice.

Barb, I;n so very glad Twinkie is okay!!! I think most of us can relate to some type of old age pain. Hopefully the new meds work for her. Pot roast sounds delicious! Enjoy!!!pawprints wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 10:43 amHey Cherries. My Twinkie is ok! She is fine! The lump is just another fatty lump! It is not the cause of her groans though. He went over all of her X-rays again and most likely it’s the arthritis in her back or her left elbow causing her to groan when she lays down. She’s been doing it for quite a while now and there doesn’t seem to be any other explanation. So we continue with anti inflammatory meds when needed and also starting her on Dasiquin. She’s been on glucosamine before but it didn’t seem to agree with her. So I’ll try Daiquin chews and hope they help. I am just so relieved and thankful to God that she is ok!
It is cold again today but sunny. I’m putting a pot roast in the crock pot and have an appointment this afternoon. In between I’m going to work on some things that need to be done around the house and maybe get in my scrap room too.
Have a great day Cherries.

Brandy, Glad to hear that Jasmine is doing so well! I ope today is better for you!blbabe1234 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 10:55 amGood morning Barb! I'm so thankful to hear that Twinks is okay! Hope she does well with the Dasuquin. I just put Jasmine on Cosequin right after Christmas and it seems to help her out a lot, on top of her having that cyst removed from her shoulder. Shelby and Penny are on Cosequin as of today. Just needed them to finish up the glucosomine from Zesty Paws that were originally on.
Speaking of Jasmine, she is doing great. The vet tech called me yesterday to check up on her and I'll take Jasmine over their on Friday to get her stitches taken out. I was going to do it on Monday with it being a holiday and my client and her staff having the day off, but we're supposed to have an arctic front making it this far south. Temps will be in the 20s/30s Monday. Ehh...no thanks. But we'll be in the 70s on Friday so I figured that would be a better day.
Just another busy day with work. Yesterday was a MONDAY
Hope everyone has a wonderful day and stay warm.

I'm happy to say that I finished another layout last night, and I absolutely love it! It feels good to be scrappin' again! (I'll post it later today.)
I've also just been staying warm, reading and watching TV, and playing with my fur babies. Or, watching them play with each other, especially the younger ones! LOL they're so cute how sometimes even the moodiest ones decide to play!
No plans today, but I do work tomorrow.
Stay blessed, Cherries! Stay warm!
Yay for finishing a layout Holly! Especially when you love the results Kittens are always fun to watch too. Have a good day!

Charleneanne, Brrr!!! That's cold for you! Have fun with your friends! Your biscuits sound delicious! Hey Cherries! I had a rough day yesterday. My leg was spasming pretty badly so I tried a dose of Advil. It helped but DH massaging made it better. But man I couldn't stay awake and had nightmare after nightmare! Steve got tired of stopping what he was doing and coming to wake me up so he called me and in my dream I was trying to call him but my phone wouldn't work right and I was so happy he was calling me!!! HAHAHAHA!!! I've had nightmares since my teen years and maybe even longer. But not normally on such a roll like that...
I ended up getting weepy at the end of one the episodes I was watching so I got up and went to my scrappy table. I finally looked at the clock and it was 4:30 AM! But I LOVE how my layout turned out! It's for the weekly sketch and the Hanukkah song challenges. The pictures are looking from the cabin to the house. These pictures were taken 4 days apart in 2020. It was a VERY snowy winter! So far this winter we've had a total accumulation of about 2-3 inches! That year we had several feet! I like this winter so much better! LOL!
I'm much better today so hopefully I can get something done here. Hard to believe we've already been in the house a month!!! This month is just zooming by like Vicki said!!!
Hope you're all doing well and staying warm and safe!

Twinks was on Cosequin for a while but it didn't seem to agree with her, so hoping the Dasiquin works out better. So glad Jasmine is doing so well. Lol you made me laugh, we are out and about all the time in the 20s/30s lol. We are very used to that here.
Yeah I groan all the time when I get up off the couch. Me and Twinkie are the two old ladies lol. Although I don't have the energy to run around the yard the way she does lol.FoxyStamping wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 11:37 ampawprints wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 10:43 amHey Cherries. My Twinkie is ok! Great to hear Twinkie is okay! Although, I am sorry for her arthritis! I groan, too, with arthritis. In fact they say that is main cause of my shoulder pain. But they will do ann MRI after I have PT, the order of things for Medicare.
Such a great layout I love the wood and the whole rustic winter look! I am glad you are feeling so much better today!GinniG wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 4:14 pmHey Cherries! I had a rough day yesterday.
