Love that it's quite versatile and easy to use! I've been seeing many projects and ideas and building up my supply of tape, now need to try some. LOVE the puzzle pieces! Wonder if that will be the next "in" thing to work with. I have puzzles with lost pieces..perfect for this!

Here is the mini gift bag I made for my sister. I made the flower with washi tape and my MS fringe scissors. I made the bag with the Sizzix Bigz Bag with Handles die using my Cuttlebug, then decorated it with more washi tape and put her name on it with some Doodlebug glittered alphas. Like Mildred, once I started buying washi tape I can't stop!
I have not tried this idea but I wonder if the washi were to be put on white cardstock and then cut or punced. Would it still stick to the tool? Just wondering.

I am loving all these ideas. As for cutting it...my Cutterbee Honeybee scissors all the way. Nothing stick to them!

No it won't. I actually stuck mine on plain white paper to make the flower on the gift bag and it cut fine because the adhesive is all covered by the paper.

My sister is Debra. We call her either Debbie or Deb.
I really do like this but am puzzled how you use the box from Sizzix and the handles from ....ah nevermind, LOL. I was thinking Cricut, not cuttlebug! OK so it's a sizzix die used in your cuttlebug, Right?pawprints wrote:Here is the mini gift bag I made for my sister. I made the flower with washi tape and my MS fringe scissors. Yes it is a Sizzix die that I used in my Cuttlebug.

I am loving all these creative ideas! Also, I have a Cuttlebug but do not know how to use dies to cut with them. Nor how to use other brand of templates either.

Bibi there are a lot of YouTube videos on using different brand dies with your Cuttlebug. Many times when I would see a die I liked I would Goggle the brand of the die and Cuttlebug together and I would get a lot of info such as if that brand of die is compatible and how to make the "sandwich" to use it in the Cuttlebug. Then I would look at the videos. It's really easy once you see it and do it. If you use the thin Sizzlits or Framlits dies or the thin Cottage Cutz dies you will need to get a "C" plate for your Cuttlebug. The "C" plate is a little thicker than the "B" plate that it comes with. If you use a Sizzix Originals or Bigz die you don't need to use your "A" plate because the die is really thick. Just watch some YouTube videos and you'll get the hang of it.
oooh awesome idea!!
I need more ideas on using washi tape so I can give myself permission to buy more!!
