Good morning everyone! Its in the 60's here going to get into the 70's today at some point. I'm finishing up school with the littles, we do home school, and then were going on a walk to get some energy out! lol Once we get back I'll be in the craft room and so will they lol, they have a desk in my craft room so we can craft together and they don't feel like they have to stay out of there. Not sure what I'm going to be playing with yet but I'll figure it out lol. MTCanuk I know the feels! The weather here is crazy too! We've froze, then it was in the 80s again, then tons of rain and 30s nd 40s now were back in the 60s and 70s. My allergies are not good right now!

It’s so wonderful that you and your kids craft together! And I can relate with allergies too. Hope they settle down soon!

We went to Wegman's earlier and picked up a fresh turkey breast which I'll cook in my air fryer for Thanksgiving. I picked up a few month things but will need to get other things closer to Thanksgiving.

Once we got home, I put everything away and while DH took a nap, I did this one for the BF Challenge.

Chris, I LOVE your layout!!! An air fryer turkey breast sounds delicious!

Hi Cherries!!! Everyone’s been quite chatty today! I LOVE IT!!!

It’s warmer today than yesterday. Steve went to town for house building stuff and is picking up a few things at the grocery store. He called and said that there was 1/2 inch of slush on the roads in the next town over the pass that’s 20 miles from here. That’s getting WAY too close! Lol! It’s too early for snow and we’re not ready yet!!! Lol! If it comes early it’s usually a day or so after thanksgiving…

I got another layout finished last night! And that means I only have two 30 prompt challenges left!!! Might have to redo one layout I’ve already done or make a couple of changes to it but that shouldn’t take long. And THEN I get to pull out my Christmas goodies and start playing with them!!! I’m really looking forward to playi with the 49 and Market Christmas line!!

OH! I almost forgot! Steve and I were talking about our budget and I told him there were some scrappy things and some Color Street mail designs that I REALLY wanted but I was torn between getting those or buying more things for the house. He told me to get the things I wanted because he wants me to be happy!!! He’s definitely a keeper!!! So I got to shop last night!!!! I’m soooo happy!!!!

Have a wonderful rest of your Tuesday everyone!!!!

Hey everyone, just updating after my Oncologist visit. Blood work all came back good. My CT-Scan showed that all tumors in right lung are still gone and clear. The one tumor in my lower left lung has grown alittle. Not responding to the 2 maintenance drugs I'm on. She said I could meet with a radiologist now and have radiation. She's thinking radiation since there is only 1 spot. Or I could try another 3 months on my maintenance drugs and then do another CT-Scan with Barium and IV and see how's it doing. I'm going to do another 3 months on the drugs and hope and pray that it kicks in and no further growth. She also said to keep up with taking care of my body eating right and exercise. I'm feeling great and more energy than I've had for a long, long time.

Have a good day, all!

Such great news Deanna and so happy you are feeling well and have your energy back!

Hey Cherries. Another chilly day. In the 40s right now and headed for around 52. It’s sunny but windy so we have a bit of a wind chill. And the leaves continue to come down. Today I’m spending the afternoon with my mom. I’m taking her to see a friend that is in a nursing facility, then we are going to our favorite little gift shop. It is a fun place to go to they have so many different things there, and I hopefully will get some more Christmas shopping done.

Have a great day Cherries.

So sweet of you to spend time with your mom and being together. I know you both really love it. How are her eyes doing? Have a wonderful day!
Her eye pressure is fine now, but she still struggles with the vision. Thank you for asking. Hoping when see she's her regular eye doctor next week he will have an answer.

Hey Cherries 😊
Where does time go?! Thanksgiving next week already?! I'm looking forward to spending time with my family; it'll be the last one at my mom's house - which my grandparents lived in since I was born. It's bittersweet, actually. I plan on cooking some food to take, so I'll probably need prayers for that! 😂 I mean, I just seem to have kitchen issues sometimes lol!
My sister Moe is gonna pick me up later this afternoon to go to my mom's in Louisville for a few days, actually. I'm gonna try to help her do some packing since she has to move soon. (It's not her fault, the landlord passed a few years back and apparently the one who took over wasn't doing some things by the book.)
Anyway, my mom doesn't know I'm coming so it'll be a (hopefully nice) surprise for her! She needs the help, though- according to my sister. Wether my mom will actually let me help her, that's a different story lol!
I'm taking my crop bag just in case lol! I need to pack it. Just taking some page kits and photos, with adhesive. Maybe my mom will have some more pictures for me? I could ALWAYS use more!
Looking forward to seeing my little brother, too. He has C.F., and is 36. A modern medical miracle, for sure! It's hard when he has bad days, but I think that's normal for anyone who cares for someone has medical issues. Seeing him thrive so well over the years HAS increased my Faith, and I'm always grateful for more time with him.
So I'm getting ready soon, and it'll be nice for me to have a few days away, too! I'm feeling better since I've gotten my effexor, and I think everyone in the house could probably use a break from me. 😂 I wasn't quite on my best behavior these last few days- I tried, though!
I'll miss my fur babies when I'm gone! It is hard to leave them for a few days! I know they'll be taken care of, but I won't be here to micro manage.
Anyway, I'm off to get ready.
Stay blessed, Cherries! 😊
Safe travels Holly and enjoy visiting with your mom!

Woke up today thinking I should start my walking routine since the weather is nice and cool in the mornings now. During the desert summers it's easy to avoid going outside if you don't have to. So I did a brisk 15 minute walk to start my day. Feeling pretty good after a bit of breakfast so I thought I would come check out some challenges. I have a few layouts in mind but thought I could use some inspiration for design.

I have a few errands to do later this morning and then possibly come back to work on more Cmas cards.

Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? I need to check the menu my daughter has planned and see what she wants us to bring.

What plans do you y'all have?

I can imagine how hot it must be trying to walk outside during desert summers!

Our Thanksgiving day will be spent at the community school where everyone brings something and we all visit and feast. Then on Saturday I’ll be cooking a full turkey dinner. Youngest stepson is coming later this week and is bringing a BRAND NEW TV! (We’ve been without one for about 2 weeks and poor DH is so bored!) Then Friday evening middle stepson and possibly his daughter who’s our only granddaughter, possibly our youngest grandson and possibly one or both of his parents arrive. We’ll feast on Saturday and they’ll all go back on Sunday morning. This has become an annual tradition since we’ve been here so this will be the 7th year!
Safe travels to your extended family. And if you watch football the TV will show up in the nick of time! haha

GinniG I love that they have the love to craft too!! Its something me and my mom still do together to this day, at least once a month, usually more lol and I love that me and my kids can do this together too!! And until winter actually hits and stays here I don't see the allergies going away unfortunately, but thank you!
