I was at Micheal's today and was looking at their paper that is on sale. I saw this really cute paper:
I got the idea to make valentines for my kids with this paper. I also got some pink and purple paper to match. I think it is going to make some really cute cards. I also got a stamp to stamp on the back of each one. I am so excited. I will post the results later when I get finished with them. If you have any suggestions on what else I can do with them, feel free to post them.
Here are the first two that I managed to get done before we go to church.
I used the paper called Sweet Talk Postage Stamps by Brenda Walton, made by K & Co. I used ink around the edges, cream colored ribbon around the bottom and small slef-stick rhinestones. The paper it is on is a real light pink by Bazzil paper. The cards themselves are 2inches by 3inches.

They are adorable!!!!
I am trying to decide which one I like better, or if it would look cute with a flower instead of the ribbon. All of the pieces are different so I will just play around with them to see what I like best. They are for 4-5 year olds, so I don't want to go too fancy with them. Paper was 25 centsand cardstock was 69 cets. Stamp on back was a dollar, and I have the rest of the spplies. Can't buy cuter ones for less!!!
Oh those are too cute! I think these are going to turn out wonderful!!
Great job!

I don't normally buy Valentine stuff, but this just caught my eye and the idea popped into my head so quick, and the paper was on sale!!! I finished 24 of them with the pink backgrounds. I am going to try to do the other 24 sometime in the next week. Probably will save some for Sunday for my little girl to help with. If anyone wants to lift the idea, I cut the squares out without any of the pink border or stamp holes. I placed them on cardstock. I cut the cardstock 2" by 3" and went from there. There are so many things you can do with these!! Thank you for all the comments. I hope their class likes them!
Those are so cute! Great idea!
Those are awesome! Much cuter than store-bought, and you can probably even use up some cardstock scraps if you save them.
