Good News/Bad News/Good News venting

You girls know I don't usually vent too much.  I just need to...

The Good News - my DH bought me a Cricut Expression for my birthday.  

The Bad News - I haven't been able to use it - our tenants moved out and we've been working on the apartment cleaning...painting...remodeling, etc... still not done but getting close.  The dirt is unbelievable!  It's took 3 nights just to clean the window sills.  UGH!  But I guess there are worse things in life.  

The Good News - I'm not doing a thing this weekend except for baking Easter Pies and figuring out this Cricut.  I may need some help with the Cricut.

Good luck with the cleaning so you can have some fun.  I have had my Expression for several months but seem to learn something new about it every time I work with it.  I finally figured out last weekend that with each font, there is one letter in the alphabet that is the tallest letter.  All the other letters are cut in size, relative to that letter.  So if  "J" is the tallest and you want 2" letters, the "J" would be 2 inches but the others may be a little shorter.  Have fun, you'll love it!

 Ex-tennants are wonderful especially when you get to clean up after they move out. My dh and I got out of that business a long time ago.
