August 19 - SCRAP A DAY Challenge

 Hey everyone...how's it going?

Are you scrapping, or saving it up for the crop? I was too exhausted yesterday to scrap...taking my dd to San Francisco today (she's actually finally moving in) so I don't know if I'll get anything done or not.

But here's one I did the other night:

I did this for the scrappin the music challenge...When my son read it, he thought it said light up dork...lol!  but it's actually a line from the song and it says without a word you light up the dark.

 Both of those are really awesome! I just finished a digiscrap that I actually made as a siggy pic for the military support group I am a part of. No paper scrapping lately though.

 I must still be asleep this morning because when I first looked at Sue's page, I thought it said "Dork" instead of "Dark".

I have a layout I did yesterday that I still have to post and maybe try to do some more today.

 Is anyone else running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to get together papers, ribbons, embellishments, photos, snacks, and journaling.  Are you pre-making meals and arranging your scrap/computer space for the crop?  Not to mention doing all this while dealing with other aspects of life?  Whoo hoo I am!  How fun!

At age 4 he was doing word searches, at 6 all he read about was the history of Egypt...it goes on and on

 Sue I love the Dork part.. I laugh now everytime I look at it! But seriously though it is a beautiful layout!! And you girls are awesome today. And Tracy I am LMAO about the Family Tree layout because it is PERFECT!!!! You could not have come up with a better title for that photo! Just Love it!!!

Well today I went on a hunt for Transparency paper that I can print on myself.. not like the transparency overlay pages. Anyway.. I can always find them at Wal-Mart... not in stock.. so went to Target... none there... then Office Depot.. found some but WAY to much $$$$ for my taste. Then called Joanns and Michaels and they said they don't sell them. So I am a little on the upset side about that. I really wouldn't think kids would need that for Back to school, but apparently they are taking it!! So I got a layout almost done with the pictures I had when I swam with the dolphins... but not finished, b/c I could not print the titles yet. SO hoping I can find some in a few days when Wal-Mart re-stocks!!!
