I received a box of goodies from the Stampin' Up company for a charitable group I work with, and one of the items they included in the box was two sets of the PearlX powder stuff. I am not really sure what to do with this stuff. Has anyone ever used this, and can you give me some techniques as to how I can use it.
Thanks,
I just read on here the other day that you can make your own glimmer mist with it!
I used to be a "celebrity cherry", but now I'm in re-hab...... Holy Carp!
I have lots of it and similar products, so I'm curious, too. I use them in the vases that I paint (or used to paint, now I scrap lol!) I would mix them with the paint to make it pearly and metallic. I guess you can do the same thing with chipboard that you paint.
pearlex can be used for many things. I used them when i made my cards with versa mark. stamp image with versa mark ink and take a brush and dip it in pearlex. Brush the powder over the image. Nice sparkle to it. Also can be mixed with lumiere to make a paint for images and as someone else said can be mixed with paint. check out www.splitcoaststampers.com. I am pretty sure they have some samples with them.

well you can use a perfect medium stamp pad on darker paper and it shows up gorgeous and shimmery, you just stamp your image and then with a blush poufy brush you dip it into the perfect pearls and swipe it across it...or like someone else said fill a spray bottle (sm one) 3/4 way up with water and a few drops of stamping ink and then a pinky nail amount of pearl ex and you'll have your own glimmer mist
