This was fun! I've been wanting to make a card that opens like this...I think it's called a gatefold, where you also decorate the inside, or bottom layer.  My layers start with the critters, then stenciled clouds and rain, a solid white layer, then more clouds and rain on the gatefold pieces. Final layer is the little fox sitting in the puddles inside LOL  Thanks for the fun challenge, Brandy!

Here's mine - I have up to 8 layers in some spots! I actually think everything in the layout is layered (I guess I got a bit carried away with it!  LOL)

I layered my punched border strips and put washi tape on top then added enamel dots. I also layered my photo with vellum and white paper (there’s cardboard underneath to give it some lift).

You can hardly tell from the photo but there are lots layering here. Card, mat, cardstock, pop-up foam, another mat, cardstock, sleigh ephemera, deer ephemera, gold bow. It is so dimensional in person.

I did layers of paper and die cuts. Also "Love" was a topper by Crafter's Companion which had like four layers with foam adhesive in between each layer.

Also, there are many layers in my cluster & also many layers in the paper piecing.

2pg layout. There’s the background paper, filmstrip paper, sometimes 2 overlapped photos, and resin dots/stars. I haven’t done the journaling yet and haven’t figured out if I’ll tip the journaling black or not. I’ll definitely embellish it a bit when it’s done.
