I just learned the meaning of a new word on my word of the day calendar.   MONTAGE is a word I had never heard before!  Something about this word intrigues me and I decided I could merge this with my art of scrapbooking.

My challenge to all y’all is to create a single- or double-page MONTAGE layout.  The meaning is a technique of producing a new composite whole from fragments of pictures, text, or music.  I knew this was it!  My inspiration for my challenge!

1. The first requirement is scraplifting yourself, using any layout you have done in the past.  You will need to post a photo of your old layout so keep it handy.
   
2. Your layout will need to be of a season other than Spring.  So Winter, Autumn, or Summer counts.  Please make sure your photos look like the season you chose and note on your submission what the season is!
   
3. My favorite color is pink, so your layout must include something PINK!  Seriously…I LOVE pink!  If it were up to me my kitchen, living room, and bath would be pink!
   

I am excited to see the MONTAGE layouts you create!  Gather your supplies and photos to get busy!

There is no combining for NSD or MB challenges except for the 25 Item Challenge and the 2022 Lovin’ It Challenge.  

Post a photo of your scraplifted layout and your new MONTAGE layout by Monday, May 16, 2022, at 11:59 PM EDT.  The winner will be awarded the prize Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

I love this challenge!
I also love pink and have a great "pink" story.
Our house was built in 1931 with the kitchen and baths remodeled in the 50's.
The upstairs bathroom has a pink bathtub, toilet and sink.
The woman that owned the house before the people we bought it from painted every wall pink. They said the entire house was pink.
I bet it was awesome! I'm so sad I didn't get to see it.

 

I have never done a fall layout using pink, but darn if it doesn't look ok, lol.

thank you for hosting this challenge! I was stumped for a while on how I was going to do a non-spring layout with an overage of pink. I'm pleased with how it turned out.

And here is the one I did for the challenge. The season is summer, my granddaughters at the beach, it was at night and a little chilly, hence the sweatshirts.

I lifted this- Easter Egg Hunt LO (of the same dggds) for the First Day of School fall LO - pink in the plaid pp & erasers embellies.
