Wow, there were a lot of entries to this challenge. Thanks you to everyone who played along.

One randomly chosen very lucky winner will receive this amazing Spring Bundle sponsored by Echo Park.

In honor of this prize, I want you to create a flower garden on your layout. Specifically, you will need to use at least 2 types of flowers totaling at least 12 flowers, plus you need to use stems and leaves (at least 2 of each). Flowers on your patterned paper do not count unless they are fussy cut.

For my example, my 2 types of flowers are little flowers from Prima and die-cut flowers (which I cut using sizzix dies and paper scraps). My stems were all die-cut (but you can use any type including just drawing them on the background), I have die-cut leaves in my flower garden and I also have stamped leaves from my grapes (but you only need  1 type of leaves).

Summary:
  • This is due Sunday May 9 at midnight.
  • Open to layouts only (paper and digital)
  • Must be new
  • At least 12 flowers of at least 2 different types
  • At least 2 stems
  • At least 2 leaves
  • No combining except with the 25 items challenge
Any questions, just ask, and have fun!

Question: Could this cutfile be one of my 6 flowers? (It has 7 roses) It also have a bunch of leaves, would those count?

This was so much fun, and gave me a chance to use my Maggie Holmes stash and Bo Bunny botanical stamps. There is stamping, stickers, cut outs, and even some drawing.

Love love this challenge. Being an avid gardener I love using flowers and Shimells collection was perfect for my Epcot photos.

Here is mine! I love coloring in cutfiles using watercolors, and then backing them with vellum!

I really enjoyed this challenge.

Used a die cut, cut twice. Then small Prima flowers. I used sticker leaves and then drew some leaves and stems. Layout of me in kindergarten (1969).

I created this layout on a heat embossed chipboard piece.

I don't use flowers that much on my layouts so I found this a great way to flex my creative muscles. My favorite is the large foam flower that I made.

These are pictures of my late mother's flower gardens.  Sorry for the dark shadows but it's quite thick and I couldn't get a better scan.
